AfterShokzReviews of aftershokz.com

Pros: A well presented, well packaged product. Good sound quality. Feels like a nice product. Cons: Phone conversations in anywhere but the quietest of environments are impossible as the mic(s) pick-up all ambient sound. The first, of two headsets, I had developed a metallic rattle, and the company replaced it with a new headset under warranty. The second headset physically broke, where the ear-piece exits the battery casing and as they calculated the the warranty from date of initial purchase, and do not reset the warranty period when they replace a faulty product, the company didn't want to know. I asked to be put in touch with a supervisor, was told that one would be in touch - but have heard nothing since. Conclusion: This is, in my opinion, a well marketed product, but of poor durability, with insufficient consideration given to how practical they might be in a real-world environment - for example, without noise cancelling microphones telephone calls are far from a good experience. I'd be spending my money elsewhere

Although quite expensive they are great headphones, or at least they were for the first couple of years. Then a few weeks ago, the left side started to rattle and shortly after, so did the right-hand side. Apparently, this is a very common problem and the company say they cannot be repaired. Of course, they are now out of warranty, so I will be forced to make a diy repair. Not what you expect when you spend a lot of money for a product. I cannot recommend them due to an obvious defect in manufacturing or materials.

Bought a pair of aftershokz airs in April 2021, worked a treat, if a bit quiet. Today, 10/8/22 the rubber ear pieces let go of the glue, sadly a good product with subpar build quality.
