It seems the less claims to pay for medical services, Hospitals ...are more the bonus the operation manager and the managers in Plantation city , south Florida get. the operation manager has not representation, no presence is covered by assistants because are not capable to discuss any problem solving,is an indication of a Sub culture at work at this particular branch. they don't care about the well being for the retired Americans.

Call them 3 times with the same question and you'll get 3 different answers. Your premiums will be average, but the cost of RX will be from 25-80% more expensive. In most cases paying cash for your meds will be so expensive that paying cash out of pocket will be cheaper. Today I spent 4 hours trying to get a straight answer about cost of and location for blood work. BLOOD WORK!!! This simple stuff and Aetna completely failed this very simple task.

Be careful read everything, they make mistakes, took my wife last year 10 months to resolve a Aetna mistake, then they payed. They don't tell you everything you need to know, you must file a claim then see the real results, I've been with them 2 years I thought one more chance, that was wrong I'm done at the end of the year, back to united heath care had them for many years, stupid move I made, my bad !!!

Aetna takes forever to process claims. I had to resubmit a claim twice because Aetna messed up on their end. My claim is still in review despite my being told a couple weeks ago that it would be processed soon and I would be getting a check. Highly doubtful that I will stick with Aetna when open enrollment opens up. Aetna needs to improve their claim processing times. Very unhappy with them.

2025 update: Aetna has lowered the CVS card to $30. BUMMER! Because CVS raised prices and now I can only order a very few items. BUMMER! Thus 5 stars to 3 stars. 2024: I've been with Aetna for about 5 years after the awful Humana reclassified my cholesterol medication in order to charge me $8 per month (formally free). As a low-income individual, Aetna has not only never charged me for doctor visits (nor for 1 hospital emergency visit) but Aetna gave $45 per quarter to use at CVS. Starting last year, it went to $90 gift amt per quarter. And, Aetna pays my cholesterol and 2 other meds. God bless Aetna for being a blessing.

Can not log in in their badass website and can not find doctor near me because your website is badass asf

The pharmacy information section of their website is non functional making it impossible to locate a preferred provider.

Mistakenly signed up for Aetna HMO through NJ Familycare (also a one star organization) only to find none of my doctors are in network. I'd be driving 30+ minutes to see any doctors. Sure, I made the initial mistake, but don't offer coverage in a county and remove half of our options. To top it all off the website is an embarrassment. I thought I'd been redirected to a phishing site for a second because it's so barebones. Do better. For the amount of money these parasites rake in, they can afford to.
