I'm a Provider & the Overseas agents only wanting to collect a paycheck has RUINED Aetna! Stay Away! The agents are liars & they place you on hold without returning! HORRIBLE! Whenever you ask for a supervisor, none are EVER available. Also, there are No Provider Area Reps - WHY?

Let me specify aetnacvs insurance, the "concierge" customer service can not take payments and after 3 attempts do not speak the kings English proficiently. I don't speak thai either, their English Comprehension was terrible and there was no other option to speak to someone who is a native English speaker and they refuse to transfer as I suspect there is no one else. I would have rather had a root canal then speak to them again. After wasting my time repeatedly, finally after sales spiel about something worker stated they were not allowed to take payments and I would have to try the automated line.. do it yourself. (Crap service) I still do not know if my payment has been applied correctly for a missed month as aetnas system seems to be set up to what barely qualifies as passable assistance in name only. When their agent set me up on auto pay and they didn't factor in the starting month. Additionally, all of the foreign concierge, 3 of them, tried to get me to go and pay for 2 months in advance and couldn't tell I was on auto pay. After 45 minutes I explained clearly I'm on auto pay you idiot why would I pay 2 months in advance on top of that? Unless aetnacvs is institutionalizing Balance Billing(look it up, the entire medical field does it unless you inform them they are breaking the law) as a practice. All 3 agents did not understand the concept. My advice find a U.S. based agent to set it up. Other than not being able to communicate and feeling like I got dropped shipped to Bangkok, it works fine and I haven't had any problems with getting scripts or doctors paid. Heaven forbid you have any questions or account problems.

Aetna is the worst Medicare Advantage coverage you can get! At sign-up, they promised all my meds would be covered. That was a lie!! They are refusing to pay for most and I'm stuck with them until 1-1-25.

We signed up for Aetna Advantage in part because it offered an attractive reimbursement benefit for athletic equipment. Just received notice they made an error so they are amending the policy and dropping the previous benefit. What? Not sure how they can get away with this type of fraudulent behavior? Not sure what they will drop next?

Aetna Advantage - 0 stars, insulin Novolog is so high for the copay I don't receive enough money to pay for a $98.00 copay. So, I have to go without insulin, until I have money to buy more. Horrible insurance, I called for a refill, and it won't be ready until 5/01, but i won't have money until 5/03.

Aetna offers a fitness reimbursement for the purchase of a tent. No where in their guideline book does it specify what size tent qualifies for the reimbursment. Representatives even assured me that my purchase was eligible for reimbursement. Yet they keep denying my claim. Shame on you Aetna. Good way to lose a loyal customer.

don`t ever get this insurance. poor coverage and poor customer service. hard to get manager, right person to talk. forver waiting ad cutomer service people just ask same questions 100 times and no solve issue. waste of time

With no warning, deny a prescription that one has been using for almost 3 years because it works, to improve breathing fuctions (COPD). Aetna is terrible. No reason that makes any sense. Give me a medication that doesn't work well. Need a Prior authorisation!! Can't check messages because their site is crap and always down.
