So peep this you'll . I had two interviews with Advance Auto Parts for a site analysis job using GIS. On the second interview they give me a site analysis assignment for all the auto parts stores on Midlothian , and the thing is to compare pros and cons of what would be a better site. The manager then states we will be in touch but might be awhile cause their manager is on vacation. Two weeks pass by I contact today and they say we went a different route. I go by the new Advance Auto Parts and see a sign on the side which I suggested and did criticism on. So basically they used me for information on the sites and then used it , then didn't even have nerve to contact me back. I'm beyond heated. Used to like advance auto but they left a sour taste in my mouth.

We were at the Raleigh .Nc location and trying one last thing before I had to spend over 1000$ to fix my air conditioning . Curt was so knowledgeable and helpful and because of him I have cold air for the first time in years,

Earlier today I stopped by my local Advance Auto in Asheboro, NC store #04430 and purchased 6 qts (5 qts and 1 qt) of Castrol synt motor oil and a Motorcraft FL820s filter. These same items from Walmart cost $19.16 or 37% less. I expected to pay a slightly higher price at Advance Auto but never 37% higher. When I reached out to their customer service I was told Advance Auto will price match but only if you purchase online. I've purchased my last item from Advance Auto hopefully anyone reading this will think twice about purchasing from Advance Auto. Advance Auto is price gouging their customers.

I purchased an alternator at one of the other stores went to another one because his alternator was bad the manager of the store Scott was rude very rude will never go back there again may not even go to Advance auto ever again the other store the people were nice but they had no clue save your money and go elsewhere. Just an update when I returned the alternator they marked it as customer didn’t need it and put it back on the shelf even though it was defective I also have a checklist that said that the light was checked when it left the factory that it turned the light off no it doesn’t that just goes to show you they’re a bunch of crooks

Advance Auto Parts store #03829 was great. We had mechanical issues on a long road trip. The Manhattan KS store was helpful, friendly, & had what we needed. We made the repair ourself & was back on the road in less than 2 hours! Thanks for helping our road trip go smoothly.

Ordered parts offline from advanced Auto wanted to parts looked used in returned because they had a crack in the rotor. Would not use this high price company with cheap parts. My mechanic had to do the job twice and buy parts from somewhere else. Save your money and use better companies

Never buy a battery here. Had a 10 month old $170 battery fail to keep a charge. They charge it a couple of times, it reads, on their meter, that the cranking amps are down 70 amps and the manager says, "that battery is good as hell! Right after that experience I purchased a Cartman load tester and it read “weak”, which means it’s under 200 amps. That tester is accurate, because I tested a new battery and it came back exactly as rated, 900 amps. Bottom line is that Advance will not honor their 3 year warranty, and I believe they have deceptive test equipment. I will never step foot in an Advance store again.

This is for Advance Auto Parts, in Menomonie, WI. I ordered rear rotors for my 2000 Honda Accord EX. I didn't check the part number, and it was one number off. That's all it takes. Wrong rotor, and my only car is on jack stands. I called, and Spencer answered. He found the right rotor while I was on the phone, and had it delivered it to my house (about 2 miles away). Quick efficient and no excuses. They just made it right. Kudos to Spencer and his crew! I lost very little time.
