HEADS UP for online orders.... Advance CANNOT refund an online payment method if you don't have a physical card. They will only offer a gift card. I went to the store first and then spoke to Advance customer service. Advance CS offered to mail me a check, but the store has final say and they refused to approve this option, so I can't get my money back. I would not recommend

I placed an order online for some parts. I received 1/2 of my order quickly but the other 1/2 has not arrived after 14 days with zero information where it is. They have no phone number to speak with customer service, they force you to chat or text. Don't bother.... I waited 48 minutes queue before I opted to receive an email response to my question, that never came. Choose a different store would be my advice

Employee doesn't know anything. My car start running funny from there recommendation of antifreeze. 8515 Hankins Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269 avoid at all cost.

This review is for advanced Auto parts in Kannapolis 28083. My experience today with the store was truly amazing. I walked in that front door and everyone is just so friendly it was unbelievable. The young lady that helped me was just so friendly and just made you feel welcome in that store. And the young man outside who changed my battery was just so thorough and cleaning everything up and making sure everything was working good before I started my car. He also was just so friendly and it was just a pleasure to deal with this store. Keep up the good work guys I will surely be back for any needs that I might have for my car. Thank you

Had a dead Diehard Platinum battery bought in Lewisville Texas at the store at 1991 lakepoint dr by friends who are not car people. They didn't have the receipt for the battery but when I went to swap the battery for them I noted the 8/22 manufacture date. So the battery, regardless of purchase date, was still within a year of the 3 year warranty. I made my case to the manager and they worked to research the purchase and issued a full refund for the replacement battery purchased the day before. I have had other returns with Advance Auto Parts in Dallas off Northwest Highway and 635 and that store also worked well with me and had no problems with the return of oil recommended for my german vehicles but wasn't exactly right. I was able to get what I needed and the other big two auto parts stores don't carry the oil needed for those vehicles. I think its just as important to note what went right as to note what went wrong. My thanks to the people at both stores.

Went to a store in Virginia, to test and possibly replace my battery. Only one person working so had to wait till no customers before they could come outside to test, then their tester didn’t work. Went to another of their stores, 20 miles away, battery test was showing OK, even though I know it probably isn’t. Asked them how they install, told me the right things about the physical install, but when I asked about resetting or register the computer for the new battery they were clueless.

Had a DieHard battery that was deemed in need of replacement by AAA. Needed jump starts when stranded. Local Advance Auto would not replace under the 3 year warranty. Would only offer to put it on their charger over night if I came back to store with battery only.

Purchased $92 Slime electric tire pump from Crestwood Blvd store today. Pump struggled to inflate small tire beyond 37 psi and smoked at 42 psi. Returned with receipt within two hours of purchase. Store manager refused to accept return stating it was company policy in response to those who use product once for emergency and then return. Does it make sense to not stand behind what you sell and alienate your good customers in order to shield yourself from the bad? Brilliant management!
