Really helped me with the new computer.
I got a new laptop after years of using a Windows 7 Dell. Didn't even know where to start with moving my programs and accounts to the new one.
Zinstall's tool got me all set up on the new laptop, and only took 3 hours to do it. I would have probably taken me 3 days, and I'd still get it wrong.
Heartily recommended.

Better than expected
The software claims a lot in its ads, and I did not really expect it to deliver on that. I did buy it, because for me getting even half of what they claim would be good enough. I have 20 years worth of email in multiple accounts, tax reports, the works. It's a major "PITA" to get that over to a different computer, and I could use any help there is out there.
To my surprise, it delivered on (almost) all of the claims.
I did have to re-activate Quickbooks, which was not that much hassle, and had to reinstall McAfee.
Other than that, it was a breeze, and I was delighted to open Outlook and see all of my email and accounts right there.
A rare "exceeded expectations" situation here, good job!

This product will trash your computer - use EaseUS instead
On 20 November 2017 I bought the Zinstall Migration Kit Pro which was advertised at $169. However when I got to the checkout page, I was charged £161.39, which is equivalent to about $218. There was no option to pay in dollars.
I used Zinstall Migration Kit Pro to migrate from a Lenovo computer running Windows 7 to a Surface Book 2 running Windows 10. The Zinstall Migration Kit Pro installed Comodo Internet Security Premium 10 and all the Lenovo drivers from the Lenovo computer on the Surface Book 2 contradicting the user guide and emails from Zinstall Support. Page 4 of the User Guide states: “Windows OS, security suites/antiviruses and special purpose drivers are not transferred from the source system.” On 16 November, Zinstall Support explained that Zinstall Migration Kit Pro doesn’t transfer antivirus and operating system software because “They use drivers, which cannot transfer from one OS version to another (they would crash the new computer).” However Zinstall Migration Kit Pro did transfer Comodo antivirus and Lenovo drivers, and they did crash the new computer.
On 26 November a Zinstall technician took control of the Surface Book 2 via TeamViewer but was unable to achieve anything because of the corruption caused by Zinstall Migration Kit Pro’s transfer of antivirus and Lenovo software. Since it was impossible to do anything useful with the Surface Book 2, I had to return it to Microsoft for a refund.
On 13 December I asked Zinstall Support for a refund for Zinstall Migration Kit Pro but have had no reply.
I tried to get the money back through PayPal but Zinstall told them that Zinstall Migration Kit Pro worked as described and that I had buyer's remorse. Neither claim is true. The product installed Windows 7 antivirus and Lenovo drivers which the manual says it won't do, and these corrupted Windows 10 on my new computer rendering it useless.
I subsequently bought EaseUS to transfer my programs and data to my replacement Surface Book. EaseUS worked perfectly and the support staff were friendly, helpful and responsive, in contrast to Zinstall.

The customer is trying to use bad reviews as leverage to receive a free copy of a more expensive product - for web server migration.
The customer's long string of requests to that matter is documented, and he has received a reply to each email and chat.
The review even contradicts itself: it is not possible to remotely connected to a computer that was crashed by a transferred driver, as the customer states.
As the customer himself states, PayPal's investigation has also ruled the case in clear favor of Zinstall after reviewing the case.

WORKS GREAT!!
Wow! - ZInstall worked great - I'd spent 3 days trying to get my old desk top onto a new computer using a competitor's product (don't want to name them but their initials are LapLink Pro) I had kept getting an error message that there was insufficient space on drive D - contacted their tech support and couldn't really get an answer - even downloaded additional software to re-partition the drive and that didn't work..... by now I'm completely frustrated - I had looked at the ZInstall website but chose to go with the "cheaper" method boy did I learn a lesson - downloaded ZInstall (got the pro version as I want to install my op system on an
SSD later) hooked up a cable - couple of mouse clicks and a few hours later - DONE!! a complete and fully functional copy of my old 'puter on the new one - no problems - password, files, everything and anything
at all was transferred without incident! - Way to go ZInstall! ZInstall WinWin does EXACTLY what it says it will do - no headaches - no complicated modifications to the old system or new one - it is truly "plug and play!"

No more dread of migrating installations!
I just wanted to send a quick email to someone at your company commending you on the WinWin product. I had been dreading (and procrastinating!) migrating a Windows 10 install from an older computer to a newer Dell computer. I had tried my backup program which has a "Universal Restore" function that is intended to integrate the necessary drivers with the backup image. After numerous attempts, all of which ended in the program not finding one after another driver resulting in aborting of the process, I found your program through a web search. I was so frustrated that I was willing to pay much more than your $120 price to have someone do the migration, so I thought I would give it a try. After two self-inflicted issues, the third time was a charm. With the exception of a few minor issues of scanner software needing to be reinstalled and the re-registration of one software program, your program did the heavy lifting. I would also commend Jim who responded twice to my chats and was most helpful.
Many thanks helping to make a dreaded task quite a bit easier.

Pretty great!
Let me preface this by saying that I've got several dozen apps on my computer, and probably thousands of pictures. My apps like email are configured to my liking, and this was done over many years, so for me it was not a question of "how long will it take me to re-do this", but more "I have no idea how to re-do this even if you make me".
I have two separate backup routines on my computer, but when it started to show signs of impending doom, I still panicked and looked for ways to transfer. I've located Zinstall, and it seemed to do what I needed.
After taking the plunge and buying the software, the process was fairly smooth. Easy to run (even at my age), nothing really to configure, although it has all kinds of advanced configuration options.
I let it run overnight, and was pleasantly surprised to see that my apps have in fact been transferred over, and my pictures, too!
So far, only two of the many, many apps I have required configuration adjustments, which is a tremendous result in my book.
Overall, a very pleasant experience, better than I have expected from a complex task like this.

Two licenses
Two licenses , two new laptops. Stop working in middle of the process. Had to abord it after72 hours going nowhere.!! which messed up my new laptops. No help from customer service. Waist of money
Response from ZinstallJan 10, 2018
Customer had a very restrictive 3rd party security suite installed on the laptops.
Zinstall software (and customer service) has warned the customer about the situation, and offered instructions on allowing the transfer or performing the transfer without an open network.
Customer was unable to get the security software to allow the transfer.
Upon notification from customer, full refund was provided right away.

Life saver program!
Life saver program!
I bought a laptop for Christmas for my daughter, and wanted to have it ready "out of the box" with all of her things on it.
So I used the Zinstall program to do this transfer and it worked great!
It even transfers passwords and things like that, which is a nice bonus.
Took about 4 hours to complete the transfer.
Also, was pleasantly surprised to have support available on Christmas, wow!
All in all a very positive experience.
