My old Windows 10 Dell desktop was beyond the point of being upgradable, so I decided to buy a new Windows 11 laptop that would give me more flexibility. My one hesitation was having so many work and personal files on the old computer, along with familiar programs that I was still using. Zinstall promised to resolve that problem, so I made the switch and bought Zinstall the day the new computer arrived. Following very straightforward instructions, I loaded the application on both units and fired it up. A progress window kept me up to date and within less than four hours (faster than expected) everything on the old computer was loaded onto the new one, now running Windows 11. In the week since, I have been able to use every application I want without issue. Files, including ones I had forgotten about, made the move. Zinstall worked exactly as promised. Today I got a personal email from Tony at the company, thanking me for my business, making sure I was satisfied, and offering help if needed. I am 100% satisfied with Zinstall and I recommend it without reservation.

I've actually purchased two licenses, one to transfer from my old computer to my old new computer (a couple of weeks ago) and the second to transfer from my old computer to my new new computer. First time around I wasn't quite up to speed as to how much ---and well-- Zinstall would copy the contents and I ended up with some duplicate desktop icons because I had started some of the work already. Second time around I just did the Windows 11 final install bits and then Zinstall. In each case it took about two hours (one was wired to wifi and the other wifi to wifi) but, luckily, I had two other computers to play with, er, use in the meantime, 😉 The only "problem" is that I still needed to "double authorize" myself on the new PC for some of the bank and shopping software I use because Zinstall apparently doesn't transfer the associations.buried in Windows. (Security reasons and that's valid at that.) It was just a tiny pain in my left cheek rather than the giant hot poker in the full glory of my gluteus maximus that doing it all manually would have been. As well, my last "manual" transfer took 2 days and cost me nearly $300 in new licenses/registrations. So I guess you can say I'm a happy camper.

In the past, I’ve always had an IT person manage the process of transitioning to a new laptop, so I was nervous about trying to do it myself. But I have to say that Zinstall worked incredibly well. Not only did my files transfer over, but the programs and assorted drivers were ported over to my new PC too. The whole transfer took about 5-hours, which I started after work hours around 6pm. The next morning when I checked, my new laptop was all set up. I am still amazed that I was able to do it by myself. Zinstall makes a great product that is easy to use.

I am NOT techno savvy at all. But I decided to take a chance when my work computer suddenly stopped working and I had to purchase a new one ASAP. I have multiple files on my old computer that had to be transferred. I needed transferred over the same evening I purchased my computer for work the next day. I took a chance and purchased this program. It was very easy to use (even for this old gal), I had everything transferred over with in about two hours and was ready to go for work the next morning. I was MOST impressed that someone from the company reached out within a few days to make sure I was satisfied and didn't have any questions. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

I know how much work it is to transfer user profiles and files as well as reinstalling all of the programs on a new computer. You see, I worked in Information Technology most of my life. My husband and I are retired now (in our 70's) and tend to take things easier. When my husband got a new computer, I went searching for something that could do the job for me. When I found Zinstall online, I thought it was just what I needed. It was easy to download and I installed it on both computers and they synced up almost immediately. A couple clicks and the process of transferring over 400GB of files and programs began. I checked on the status of the computers once in a while and each time was happy to see that it was going as expected. After about 4 hours, I saw the "Congratulations" message on the screen of the new computer. Everything was in the new user profile on the new computer and the programs were in working order. Zinstall is relatively inexpensive when you consider the ease of use and all the hours it saved me, it was a bargain! It would have taken me many more hours to accomplish the multitude of tasks involved in transferring everything over and getting it all set up. You don't need to be a computer technician (like me) to use this software either! Kudos to the creators of this software! They did a great job and made my day! Sidenote: This was a transfer from a Windows 7 computer to a brand new Windows 11 computer.

This was truly a game changer. In the world we live in now your personal data needs to be protected. My tower was old and not supported by Microsoft anymore and I needed to save and protect my old data. I didn't want to use a company where you take your tower in and they transfer the data for you. Too many times we protect ourselves only to find that a breach happened that wasn't in our control. This I could control. Zinstall was the perfect solution. I controlled the data, I wasn't worried about another party stealing my data. It was great. The product worked as advertised. All of my data was transferred and it looked exactly as it did on my old tower. I would recommend adding a cable to help with the transfer as some files were larger than others and it would have taken much longer just using Wi-fi. I also used AI to confirm the instructions and to clean out any not needed apps on the new tower. No need to contact Zinstall at all. It was seamless and I am very happy.

This program is more expensive than the alternatives that I have used in the past. The money was well spent. As ZInstall was able to efficiently move my entire laptop to my new one. Some licenses had to be reinstalled on my Accounting programs (as expected) No corrupt data during the move, and very easy user interface. Approximately 1.5TB of data involved. Would recommend to anyone concerned about important business files and data
