This software works really well. I recovered some older favourite programs that could not be purchased any where today.

This was a 5 star event. I did not have the time to deal with the transfer from Windows 7 computer to new Windows 10 computer. Having read the manuals from several companies, it became obvious that there were many opportunities for glitches. Zinstall handled the entire process and I was only involved for about 10 minutes at the front end. Since I was new to their procedures, whenever I had a question, their response by email was immediate. When I needed to make the appointment for the transfer, it was the next day at 7 a.m. which was my preference. Any other choice was also fine. When I checked the completion of the transfer when I got home, some incompatibility messages from Microsoft appeared. Since it was after hours, I sent an email at 7 a.m. about the matter and Zinstall techs were immediately on the new computer checking the install. They truly stay with you until you are comfortable that everything is satisfactory. Impeccable operational procedures, customer support and expertise. Definitely recommend.

Posted Monday evening (2 stars): Migration Pro product seems to work well enough from three migrations performed last week. However, communications/support with vendor is non-existent. Sent an email to sales, opened a support case and had a chat session and there's been complete radio silence. This is not a company that seems interested in its customers. Posted Tuesday afternoon (4 stars): Since my post last night, I've been in contact with the vendor through email and had a support call on the phone. I have increased my rating based on these interactions.

We had to transer everything from a 10 year old Dell running Windows 7 to a new HP running Windows 10 Zinatall software is brilliant But better still Zinstall support readily helped us to get through the various problems we encountered. Many thanks

Sometimes computer issues can be painful. Zinstall made my transfer pain free. This is definitely the tool to use when you need The Right Tool to get the job done properly. I only had one minor issue that took 5 minutes for me to remedy with a little help from tech support. They were very responsive. The Zinstall team has great work to be proud of. Well done Zinstall.

It was a relief and cause for celebration when ZINSTALL completed the migration of my apps – with their settings, options, preferences – and my data files to a new PC. After a thorough check, I found everything as it should be on the new system. I notice that the bad reviews of this product are from people who don’t take the time to read and understand instructions. ZINSTALL makes an incredibly complex process transparent to the user, but preparation YOU can do will avoid problems. I contacted Support BEFORE I purchased the product to find out what preparation was advisable before starting the migration process. If you are quite savvy with Windows, I suggest you read their FAQs and, if you still have questions, to contact Support for their advice. I found them very helpful. For anyone who is not savvy with Windows, ZINSTALL offer a package whereby one of their technical people will run a guided migration. My next experience will be to migrate my wife’s system to a new PC with SSD and HDD combination. I am actually looking forward to it!

I initially bought the self guided version. I ran into an issue because my new computer has more drives than my old computer. I ended up buying the tech support add on. It was worth it. In about two hours James had the mess I made cleaned up and all the programs, pictures, apps, and data loaded on my new computer and running. All I had to do is re-establish connection with my wireless printers. No regrets. I will use them again.

Transferred, migrated, they call it different things but it works good, so that is the only thing that matters! I have many programs installed on my computer, and huge number of pictures and pictures folders. And now I have them on my new computer, which really is incredible. I think this is a great program although I can't understand how it works. But I see that it does work, and saves a lot of time and a lot of tears spent on lost programs and files if you do not do this correctly or use a correct tool like this one. Zinstall all the way!
