Zillow is horrible. Don't waste your time trying to sell them your home. They start you on a high initial offer so you will wait the weeks it takes to go through process. Causing all other offers to expire before you can compare them all. Then, if any water damage (i.e. leaking sink, not from flooding) Zillow requires you to fix your "As Is" home sale before they will make offer. Save yourself the frustration, there are another dozen plus iBuyer companies to choose from. I have also been told they like to make further reductions in offer at the closing table which everyone likes to avoid.

SELLER BEWARE
I highly recommend you DO NOT SIGN Zillow's purchase agreement without first getting a lawyer to review and ensure you understand completely the risks you are accepting. The purchase agreement is as one sided in Zillow's favor as I have ever seen in a contract and Zillow refuses to modify it. It's normally buyer beware, well in this case it's SELLER BEWARE!

Zero stars
Zero stars: Zillow does not reflect actual assessed values, roll histories or any information relevant to the home or value. Example for a neighborhood in Manor, TX. A single story, single family rental most recently assessed Value is approximately 190k, Zillow and their algorithm have the home listed for 320k. A 2 story with an assessed value of around 270k, is listed for approximately 350k. It is simple math, public records and market activity. Zillow is not a honest company. Avoid for your purchasing references.

Zillow is a complete unethical…
Zillow is a complete unethical corporation. Do not buy from them. They are nothing but a scam. Trust me you’re better off going through a regular Agent. They are unethical and a terrible corporation with very very poor customer service

Awesome seamless sales/buying process
Vancouver, WA. May 2021. Awesome seamless sales/buying process, especially during this post-pandemic market! This is what people need today to reduce the stress of contingent purchases and showings. Zillow took care of our insecurities by detailing what's included in the sale. Note: the percentage of the cost was nearly equivalent to hiring an independent realtor which is approximately 3-4% without the hassle of needing to show property, repair, and clean up. Although we did clean up and did tidy up a bit. Zillow offered to do an evaluation for purchase with no strings attached. We were given 90-days to accept. They assured us that even if the 90-days expired, we could request another term without signing a contract. There was no pressure to find a home until we were ready to purchase a house. Within a week after the evaluation or a day, we found a home we liked. Our offer was accepted despite 4 other offers, which was a miracle! We could then accept Zillow's purchase offer, note - there was no pressure to accept the purchase price offered by Zillow which was about 7% more than the last home sold within 2 weeks. Once we found a home within a week, the process of selling and accepting Zillow's offer began simultaneously with the process of purchasing our new house. As unbelievable as it sounds, we closed both properties in less than a month, back to back. At each closing, we were being guided by professionals on the Zillow team, finance, and both ends of the real estate companies. The only thing I would suggest - if you are selling/buying, keep a notebook of the parties and notes for both sides of transactions. Email - set up 2 folders (sell/buy) Note that there are 2 different transactions going on, and therefore 2 different escrow companies and sets of people. If you don't mind the details of keeping notes, Zillow is and has been the best experience we have ever had in this market! Zillow offers an innovative program to help people reduce stress, especially in these times! They have managed to help change lives by meeting the needs of people in the market of purchasing and/or selling a home. They have shown compassion and listened well to what consumers need at this time!

Zillow is fraud and scam
Zillow is fraud and scam. Zillow sells your information to cash home buyers that buys home CHEAP. Zillow estimate is extremely lower than Redfin because their clients buys home CHEAP.
Zillow has privacy button which doesn't work and will not allow you not to sell your information.
Zillow is a SCAMMER!!
