Z GrillsReviews of zgrills.com

After much research Z GRILLS has so many positive reviews compared to others. I did my homework and so glad i chose Z GRILLS. I ordered online and in 2 days my grill was here. Wasn't expecting for atleast 3 more days. No damage to box and in several hours i had it together and followed initial startup to a T. No problems with the grill so next i made our first meal and very impressed with the outcome. I placed an order for pellets and it arrived in 2 days. In my experience they really do take customer service to the next level. And by the way this is my first pellet grill, always used a firewood or chacoal grill/smoker. Very pleased and cannot wait to smoke a brisket. Thank you very much Z GRILLS!!!!

I have owned a Tregar, Smoke Chief, and now a Z Grill. The Z Grill is the superior smoke grill. Sturdy, consistent, a n d affordable. I am retired and chose to live an RV lifestyle using my ZGrill as my oven and grill... I depend on it to save me from the heat of the oven in my rv. AND I hate using propain for cooking! ZGrills wheels made it easy to load and unload from my RVs garage. What broke ZGrill apart in superiority was the customer service I recieved when an issue arrised with my Z Grill. I emailed them at least a dozen times with my issue and they responded with me each time no later than 1 day to help me. They also have "how to", "WITH STEP BY STEP PICTURES" info on-line when having to repair anything making it that much easier and faster! Thank you Everyone at Z Grill for making this pain free and easy! Sally, on the Colorado River for a moment.

I purchased a blind box recently. The box with my ZGrill model ZPG-550B2 arrived faster than I expected. The instructions for putting the grill together was pretty good. I have cooked on it and find it holds the temp with 5 - 8 degrees. I am pleased with my purchase and look forward to using it for many years. Jim

I purchased a z grill for my husband's birthday in February 2021. We used it maybe 10 times before 2 of the parts went out. I contacted a grill in March 2022 they told me the parts were available and we would receive them in a week. Fast forward to May and now being told they are out of stock. Was told we sent you pellets, but we can't use them. I am not happy at all with customer service lying and saying well we sent you free pellets.

Horrible temp control. Set on 225 will cook at 245. NOT GOOD AT ALL. I have a Trager at work and it maintains 225 with in +/- 5 degrees. Z Grills does not know what they are doing. Very Very DISSAPOINTED !!!!

Edit: the blind box is not the way to go. You will most likely end up with the base model, and it is not the one you want. The lid has an awkward fit, and after a few uses you will have grease dripping out of the front seam. Be sure to get a grill pad to protect your deck, but don’t count on getting it discounted like it would be if you bundled it with a regular purchase. The “free” rain cover is far from it, unless you read the lengthy webpage word for word. Add another $18 for that. Overall, the grill gets the job done. It eats pellets and can reach 400. Avoid the blind box deal, and read every word before you pull the trigger. Original review: The blind box deal is awesome if you get something above the base model. I wanted to order a thermal blanket with the grill, but was unable to do so given the uncertainty about which model would be sent. If you purchase the base model and bundle it with the accessories you want, the discount will be much better than the blind box deal itself. In hindsight, I would purchase what I want with all discounted accessories. So far the grill has been great for seafood and veggies. Everything arrived in great shape and it took about 30 minutes to put it all together. Another 2 hours to break it in, and we were smoking!

I bought my 11002B March 2022. I've cooked on it about 6 times. First, the grill struggles to reach 400 degrees. That I can handle. It's the difference in temp the pit shows from the app. Either the app needs an upgrade or the firmware on the pit controller does. After many back and forth emails, they are saying move my pit closer to my WiFi. If I did that I would be in my house. My WiFi is stellar and has always worked. Very frustrated that the temp in the app is different than the pits temp. Oh and did I say anything about the customer service, I send paragraphs on the issue and they send back one maybe two sentences saying it's basically my issue and that no one else is having this problem.

Just received my Z Grill 550B2 in a blind box purchase.Everything arrived in great shape and it was professionally packaged.Instructions were well written and easy to assemble.Initial start up was not a let down ,auger worked as should , air fan ,igniter and heating elements are all in excellent working order. 10lb hopper is just right for my cooking needs and the grill looks great and sturdy.Inquired with customer service about receiving a grill cover and they responded back quickly with helpful information on how to get one.Looking forward to enjoying multiple cooking experiences.Ultimately the 550B2 is a great Grill!
