I just smoked my first brisket on my new Zgrill. I got it in a blind box and I am so happy with it. We are in transition, moving from Texas to North Carolina. I lost both my hands a few years ago, so a pellet smoker is easier for me. My wife had bought me a Yoder 640 and it was great, but I decided to sell it instead of moving it. I read about the Zgrill blind box and ordered one. The brisket was the best I’ve ever made. The grill was super easy to use and produced really good smoke. I was amazed at how few pellets it took. I know it’s smaller than my Yoder, but it took less than half as many pellets. Keep up the good work.

Worst customer service ever - phone number isn’t even active currently. I had a small z grill that worked great but just moved up to the 1000 because I wanted to cook more and it is total garbage. Won’t hold temp, metal is thin and flimsy plus I have ee2 error and her error as well as mass fluctuations in the temp read out even though it’s not heating. Giant waste of money - buy another brand!

I received the 700e series and the drum is too damaged to use. I called customer service and sent pictures. The response was that if it gets approved the will reach out and let me know. The damage was obvious. It's was Friday morning and now I have to wait until Monday for them to decide to ship another. In general they didn't really seem to care. If I pay good money for something I expect good service. So far not impressed. ZGrills responded with trying to hit the grill with a rubber hammer and $50 off. If I want to return they will charge me $90. They then went up to $100 or will send a new drum in several months when available. I don't see the 700 series listed as out of stock on their website? To put this to rest I asked them to guarantee I'm not responsible for any additional damage that may occur by hitting with hammer and to discount $100 plus send a new drum when available. We will see what they say to that.

My z grill got a code 1 and would not turn on . Call Z Grill support for help and got help to trouble shot problem. They were very helpful and set me on right path to fix. It was still under warranty and sent me the part required. They were very professional sent the part witch i got in 3 days . I would recommend buying .

Last year I bought a Zgrills ZPG-450A pellet grill smoker off of Amazon. I was excited that I would be able to have a smoker that I could just set and only occasionally have to check the temp. Using only the. built in temp controls and thermometer I smoked my first brisket. Control was set at 225 and I had a internal probe set at 203. The size of the brisket should have reached that temp in about 10-11 hours. In 3 1/2 hours the temp alarm went off. Brisket was done internally but tough as shoe leather . I wrapped it in foil and put it in my home oven at 225 for 4 more hours, it was not great but edible. That made me curious about the smokers controller. I bought two thermometers and put them in the grill one at each end with no meat on it. Set the temp at 225. After thirty minutes I checked my thermometers. With the controller set at 225 the left side where the built in probe is the temp was 280 and the other end was 360. I moved the temp down to 185 and the left side settled at 230 and the right at 280 .I was ver disappointed and would not recommend a Z-Grills product. Find one that’s actually reliable.

I’ve had my grill for just under 2 years and I use it regularly when it works. I purchased a blind box and it arrived damaged. Not saying this was Z grills fault but it definitely set the tone. Customer service was helpful and we were able to resolve the issue. Since then the fan has gone out twice and currently my grill is broke again. I contacted customer service because it won’t maintain temp. At first they were helpful and after some email troubleshooting they sent me a controller. I swapped it out and it didn’t fix the problem. I contacted customer service again I still haven’t gotten a reply. It’s been almost a month and my grill is still broke. It’s like they don’t have a fix for this temperature problem. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement, I’m sick of working on this thing and just want it replaced with something that works and is reliable.
