Yes, an ID verification is required, but there is no problem with the procedure as others claim to have experienced. Yes, the setup is a bit techy, but nothing someone who knows what a "virtual number is" can not solve. Number choice is great, flexibilty is amazing. Prices are unbeatable. Stop name-calling this company a Russian one - it's from EU, but you wouldn't know. Would you?

Absolutely rubbish. They have 0 support. They are bots. I paid for virtual number. And I uploaded the document. They keep saying upload a passport scan. Whatever I say to them they say the same. 3 days and my number is not working. Trust me guys all of these 5 star comments are fake. I wouldn't even pay a penny. UPDATE: I might as well update you guys. They have reached out to me here to solve the problem. Couple days passed. The problem is not solved. No refund was issued. I decided to go with Callcentric. Super nice support. The number was delivered in a timely manner. Thry even compensated me with little more funds for the time I waited due to weekend here. Absolutely stunning service. Truth be told a bit more expensive 8$ monthly fee plus 8$ setup fee but hey worth every penny. UPDATE: I was refunded the full amount. However, if you ask me do I recommend it. Probably no after the great experience with callcentric.

Absoluto desastre. No se cuanto tiempo llevan operando pero AHORA se dan cuenta de que si en tu nombre tienes una Ñ no podías pagar con tarjeta porque validaban que el nombre solo tuviera 'caracteres latinos' (debe ser que la Ñ es de origen anglosajon). Tras una semana de tira y afloja con envío de capturas, fotos.. etc) simplemente para que no validasen el nombre de la tarjeta en su formulario (la pasarela del banco ya lo iba a hacer igualmente) me dicen que lo han arreglado. Entro, intento pagar, el banco me valida y Zadarma dice que no puede procesar la petición. Nuevo ticket y me dicen que la culpa es de mi banco.... ya. Si no pueden ni cobrar cualquiera les hace responsables de las numeraciones telefónicas de tu empresa. Por cierto, Twilio vende numeros virtuales a 2€ y sin problemas...

según su publicidad dice que (Abre una oficina virtual en cualquier parte del mundo. Los clientes y socios te llamarán al número fijo convencional independientemente de tu ubicación) lo cual es falso!, estoy ubicado en Colombia, compre un numero fijo en España y después de pagar, lo negaron por que tengo que tener dirección de residencia en España, todo lo de la pagina es publicidad engañosa, eso si, solo lo sabrás hasta pagar y que se queden con tu dinero.

I usually don't write reviews but considering that Zadarma has such a low rating I just feel like adding my 2 cents. While I d usually give 4 stars for their services, I ll give 5 to improve their average rating a little bit: Positive: + I can confirm that Zadarma and the service they are offering is legit. I am indeed paying 2USD for a virtual (luxembourgish number) number and by using the zadarma app incoming calls from local landline to virtual number are free of charge. I can not say anything related to short messages though. I was quite hesitant after reading all the bad reviews but I considered for 2USD I could give it a try. I did however use paypal to make sure that I can easily recover my money and I would suggest everybody to do the same just to be on the safe side. + even when making or receiving calls over the landline Zadarma is cheaper than Skype + It all works the way they are describing it on the website. + I cannot say anything bad about the chat support. They are friendly and usually speak decent English. However occasionally I had the impression that I am talking to someone using google translate. Guess it depends on the agent you are dealing with. When it comes to technical difficulties, information or in general getting around on the website the chat support is good. + the call quality (over landline and PBX) during outgoing and incoming calls is decent, not awesome but for that price unbeatable. Negative: -this document verification is, like many people stated before, a pain in the neck. It took me 10 days before they finally accepted the documents I submitted after many times of trial and error. Here I can suggest to submit 1 high resolution scan or photograph of both passport sides and a photo where you are holding the passport behind a piece of paper with the word "Zadarma" and the current date written on it. Again it must be high resolution: DO NOT TRANSFER the photo over Whatsapp, Facebook, or any other social media to somewhere before forwarding it to them. The loss in quality will make the passport unreadable. You have to send the original file with the original size. To make sure that the photo is good enough, zoom into the photo you are about to send and make sure everything on the passport can be read clearly. -chatsupport is useless when it comes to financial matters or document verification matters -email support seems to be slow at answering emails but hey you pay 2USD per month!. To avoid lenghty exchanges about financial stuff, I d suggest you to stay on the safe side, to use Paypal and to top up your account as you go and not throw all the money you saved over the years for sending your future children to university at them; -setting up is a little bit complicated and the tutorials are so so but the chatsupport is up to helping you out with that. Conclusion: Unbeatable service for this price seriously. And definitely not a waste of time if you consider the money you ll be saving in the long run when using their services. For me it was totally worth going through these hassles. I will update my review when I can look back to some more experience with the app, but so far everything works smoothly.
