Rochester NY Office: Quote done wrong (July 2025), wrong door measurements taken three times yet still wrong, wrong size doors installed and damaged by installer, aluminum wraps done wrong. Company finally sent out a master installer from a different office who said he could see from the street how poorly done the job was. He redid measurements and gave to someone in office to reorder doors in March 2026 but replacement doors were never ordered because that person left the company. Numerous calls to manager/company over four months and they are just now returning our calls to say they will make it right.... but he's out sick and can't talk to owner about it, and now someone had a death in family. It has one excuse after another for installing incorrectly sized doors. Filed complaint with BBB and NYS AG office, and anticipate going to small claims court.

They are the cheapest for a reason. You may order your window but you will have to wait a very long time to get them installed. Then they push you back several weeks out due to "bad weather". Do not go with Window World because they do not have enough installers to get your job done in any reasonable time frame. If they give you a time frame, don't believe it. This is Window World in the metro Atlanta area.

It did take several weeks for our new windows to come in after the measuring was done, but we’re very happy with the results. Workers were thorough and efficient - whole job was done in a couple of hours. Would recommend and hire again

I had 8 windows in my house replaced by Window World of Boise in 2009. Several years later I had a problem with one window. The spring type thing that holds it up broke. Called Boise to have it repaired and got a bunch of whining about how far I was from Boise and he would let me know when he would be available. I waited a couple weeks, called back and got a run around. So I called the corporate offices about it. They contacted Boise immediately and I got a return call from Boise saying I shouldn't have contacted corporate but did get an appointment the following week for the guy to come repair the window. When he got here, he didn't have the right part and used a different size "that would work just as well". It didn't. I opened the window about 20 minutes after he left and the spring type thing broke again. I called immediately to let them know and told them I needed another appointment. The other side of the window was still working and held it up, so there wasn't a big rush on him returning. I never heard back from them. Now in 2026 I need a window replaced and called them to come give me an estimate and get the original window fixed. Nick came out and did the estimate and said he'd order the parts for the window and they should be in in about a week. About 3 weeks later I called and Nick said the part still hadn't come in and that he'd contact the company and let me know. Another week goes by, no call, no text so I contact them again. Nick said the part was on the truck and would be here so we set an appointment for June 30 which I had to reschedule for July 6 at noon. At 12:15 I call and leave a message. Nick calls back and says the part that was on the truck for the June 30 appointment really wasn't on the truck and still hasn't come in. Did he let me know in advance? Absolutely not. So I wasted an entire morning waiting on him. He's going to call the company again (yeah, right) to find out where the part is(that was on the truck before), again. I've learned the ONLY way to get things done with this organization is by calling the corporate office. Absolute horrid customer service on repairs.

I am still waiting for someone to call me and give me an update on what's going on with my window. Very much avoidance and not taking responsibility for their incompetencies

My advice is stay away from this business. We had windows installed in January with one being broken by the installer. It's almost the end of June and the replacement has still not come in to be installed. Don't expect whoever works there to answer the phone and if by chance someone does, all they give you is a run-around answer. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for very poor lack of service and follow-up calls. This has been the worst decision we have made regarding any home repairs/installs.

This morning we needed an emergency window repair as the cam in our tip out window broke. I called the Virginia Beach office. The gal on the phone said she didn't have anyone available at the moment. But said she would try and reach someone. She called back and said she was still looking, then called back in another 10 minutes and said, someone will be out there in 20 minutes. With this hot day we were so thankful that they were able to accommodate us in getting our window fixed. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Installation went great , but when installed they didn't seal the inserts, i have 10 windows that leak in winter can feel cold air coming in, called window world several times said they would send someone out and never did, call more times and get no response isn't worth getting from them to much of a hassle for 10,000 dollars in windows
