Window World, Inc.Reviews of windowworld.com

May 2022 – Reached out to Window World for a free in-home estimate. Decided to purchase our windows and doors with Window World. We put in an order for 12 windows and 2 doors all hurricane rated, totaling $25,440. October 13th – Received a call from Window World Scheduling Department want to set up a day for the window installation as our windows had arrived. I was asked if Monday October 31st would be good. I said yes and was given an appointment time between 9am – 11am that the installers would arrive. October 31st – The window of time given to us for the arrival of the installers came and went. At 11:08am I called Window World of Orlando and spoke with Jasmine. I told her that the installers had not arrived and asked when will they be here. She said she would send a message to them and they would call me back shortly to tell me when they would be arriving at my house for the installation. At 11:49 am when no one had called me back, I again called Window World of Orlando, this time I got Elijah on the phone. I told him about my conversation with Jasmine and the fact that the installers had not called me back. He said that it would have to be marked as a no show and my appointment rescheduled. At this point I am about to blow my fuse. He could not reschedule me I would have to wait for the Scheduling Department to call to do this. About ten minutes later the installers called to say they ran over at another job and were on their way to my home to do the installation. They arrived close to 1pm at my house over 2 hours after the latest time for my appointment. By the time they were done with our installation it was 1:30 am Tuesday morning. They said that had driven in from Tampa which is on the other side of Florida to do this job. November 1st – Due to the late hours that this installation ran into my husband and I did not notice the issues we were to find the following day after the installation. I called Window World of Orlando about the issue. They said someone would be in touch with me. No one called. November 10th – Called Window World of Orlando again about missing keeper and windows not functioning correctly. Spoke with Frank who would look into it and call me back before the end of the week. He did not. November 14th – Called Frank at Window World of Orlando, he had not spoken to anyone about the issues. Does not know when windows will be fixed. November 17th – Got a call from Window World of Orlando, someone will be at our house on Tuesday November 22nd between 9am and 11am to fix the issues with the windows. November 21st – Worker from Window World of Orlando, just showed up at my home to do window repairs just as I am getting ready to run some errands. He was told by the Orlando office to come out. Called the Orlando office, no one answered. Left a message asking for them to return my call. They did not. November 28th – Jose from Window World of Orlando came to my house after 5pm wanting to do the final inspection on the windows and doors. I told him he could not as the windows and doors failed inspection and we were waiting for a second inspection date. He told me that someone in the Orlando Window World office told him to come out to my home to do this. December 1st – Window World of Orlando called at 8:13 am to set up a time for the County Inspector to come back out to reinspect the windows and doors. I told them that Jose had been out on Monday of this very week and had me sign a paper for the time and date. They said they never got it so we needed to schedule a new one. December 9th – Called Window World of Orlando to set up date and time for finishing touches on windows since they passed inspection. Got voicemail left message. No one called back. December 14th – Missed a call from Kevin at Window World of Orlando by 1 minute. Tried several other times but Kevin never picked up his phone. December 15th – Called Window World of Orlando to speak with Kevin. Was told Kevin is a manager and had just gone into a meeting. Left a message for him to call me back. He never did. December 19th – Called Window World of Orlando to speak with Kevin, got his voicemail and a message he was out of town until December 20th due to a family emergency. Window World Roanoke - I hired them to replace six drafty old windows in a 100+ year old farmhouse. They came out and did an estimate quickly. They advised it would take 6-8 weeks to manufacture the windows and come out to replace. About five weeks in, I tried reaching the salesman who came out to check on the status of the windows. He never replied to my email. I assume he probably puts the order in and has no further knowledge. But a reply would have been appreciated. After 8 weeks, they called me and advised the windows were ready. They had an opening in their schedule just a couple days later, so I took them up on that. The installers ran into some challenges while trying to get the old windows out that added an extra couple of hours to install time, but they worked hard and didn't charge anything extra. This is the second time I've used Window World (the first was Asheville, NC). My parents also used them by my recommendation and had a great experience. They're not cheap - not by any means. But they do a good job and offer a good warranty. I would use them again.

4/3/2021: Signed a contract with Window World of Palm Beach along with giving the 50% deposit they require. At the time I was told they would call to give me an installation date but to expect the July timeframe. For brevity I am omitting all the dates and attempts and lengths I went through to attempt reaching this company for information and updates. Suffice it to say they have been extremely non responsive, non communicative as to order status, potential installation date etc. 11/2/2021: Due to unresponsiveness, I called the Corp. office and spoke to someone in Customer service. I told them of the issue and was advised that this is a franchise operation but they would contact the office here in my area to have someone call me. 11/3/2021: I received a call from a woman identifying herself as someone in this area. She said she would be following up and would call me the following day. (Of course I did not receive a return call. ) After numerous additional calls and Voice mail messages, I finally connecting with a young lady that informed me the problem was WW will not contact you until they have received everything on your order. Again, I will not list all the attempts and conversations, bottom line after 10 months, I finally got an installation date. 2/7/2022: Installers arrive and there are items missing from the order. They check and find the items are in Orlando so installation is delayed until the following day. 2/8/2022: The installation begins and: 1. One window is broken and is showing signs of rust 2. One needs new screen 3. On another, one part sent is not what was ordered and does not match the other window in the same room so could not be installed 4. The order specifies a 94.5” sliding door. They installed an 80”. The bottom of the sliding glass door installed is not flush with the tile and has a 1/2” gap (you can actually see to the outside through it.) The installers and customer service person both promise that I would receive a call by the end of that day (2/8). NO CALL received 2/9/2022: I call to say I have not received a call, the job is incomplete, the door incorrect etc. Once again, I am promised the supervisor would call by the end of the day NO CALL 2/10/2022: Nearing the end of the day, still not having received a call, I call the corporate office and am told they will reach out to the local office. 2/11/2022: NO CALL. 2/11/2022: I e-mailed the corporate office the above information. 2/15/2022: Still no contact, no return call.

AVOID! Purchased 19 replacement windows and sills for my home totaling nearly $17k. Sales altered the docs after I had signed and the installer put in the wrong sills. He tried to fix them and made them worse. Multiple other problems began to emerge so I called the salesperson first - he was rude and gaslit me. I called the office, Management first claimed they'd remedy then reneged and began gaslighting, lying, and threatening me. I am considering legal action to recoup damages.

If we could provide them with ZERO stars we would. As a local company in the property mgmt business, we were looking for a solid partner to assist us with our multiple properties. We were told we would receive the same color doors to match. The installer put up the wrong door and told us that he would never put this door in as it would stick out 1 1/2". Rick, the sales manager who says we ordered it that way and the wrong color, said to "Make it Fit" to the installer while we were standing there? Really????? No customer service and only putting the blame on the customer(Check the contract) is continually said on their behalf. We have the wrong size door that does not fit and the wrong color. Our GC said it will be leaking with rain as it is not the correct size. Any JOB, BIG or SMALL, Window World FAILS and Falls!!! Dont buy here and most of all, do not work with Rick in Sales. He overpromised and under delivered. We hope to find a vendor that can help us in the future with our other rentals. Does anyone have any suggestions out there? Andersen? Thanks
