With all of the venture capital they brag about online, maybe you should try using that to actually approve payments automatically. Since the bulk of your customers are small businesses, we do not have the privilege to be backed by millions of dollars in capital! It should never take 2 days to complete a credit card payment! It not only holds up our customers, but also our livelihood. So now with all of the changes, and removal of online invoicing, merchants are supposed to trust you w/payments? Yeah. ..right.

I just logged into my email account and found a notice of delinquent funds in my account. I sent them an email letting them know that I am willing to do a payment plan to recover the amount if there was any negligence on my part after careful review, but after reviewing my accounting, there is a mistake in implementing a charge back. I am not aware of any payment made from the supposed customer who disputed a charge. They stated that they may pursue legal action against me and/or use a 3rd party to collect these funds. I'm definitely going to get legal advice from my attorney for this case if it is not resolved sufficiently and especially if there is any negative reporting on my credit, I'm going to definitely dispute that. I'll stick with my current merchant account. JMama

Horrid is a good word to sum it up. Im basically told that WePay will dictate the income of my business and I have no guarenteed course of action to change the extremely low limit put on my business. Everywhere it is advertised that after a payment is processed the funds are deposited into my account the next business day. Something that is completely untrue. WePay puts the money into a "pending" status for a number of days. In my case Thursday, Friday, Sarturday and finally released om Sunday. We all know no business occurs on Sunday so this is obviously a waiting period that is no where near the industry standard. I could go to [External Link], have my funds availble instantly on Thursday withdraw the funds and have them deposited by Friday, the latest Monday. After you hold my money hostage for a long time, then only 500 is released to my bank account which doesnt arrive Monday, it takes 2 business days and arrives Tuesday. When I realize my cash flow is being held hostage, I call the company to ask what recourse I have and im consistently hung up on no matter what option I choose in their ivr. After waiting more than the guarenteed 100 mins for a response from email support im told its due to the "trust level of my industry." I fear WePay understands nothing about my industry because they would realize no company can survive on 500 a week when dealing with guarenteed credit card transactions. The only reason im given is it is an industry standard, which is a lie. No payment processor from [External Link] to [External Link] holds funds for up to a week "incase of chargebacks". WePay is cheap, uneducated and has zero connection to their customers.

We operate a family restaurant, we offer food catering on the side to make extra money. We had 3 clients that paid catering deposit fees through WePay. The first transaction of $125 went through and successfully deposited to our bank account. The other 2 transactions valued at $380, were held by WePay. WePay told us, that they are reviewing our company. They assured me that the payments should clear soon after the verification process is completed. After 15 days of waiting,WePay closed my account citing our company was a "High Risk". We lost our $380 that was held my WePay. We are currently in the process of writing a complaint with the BBB and considering taking WePay to small court. To all the business owners out there: Do not use WePay! You will NOT get your money!

I joined with them, I sell discount Netflix accounts. I had 7 sales in 2 days, but one of them did a chargeback because the order the wrong plan. The customer then purchased the correct plan, so all was good. I just got a notice from them that I'm a high risk, and my monies will be put into a reserve for 30 days. Mind you, at this time, I had a pending withdrawal that was to go into my account, but even now THAT says it failed. Sad thing is, I read these reviews before joining, I went with their BBB score instead, which is an A. I should have gone with my gut feeling. What they're doing is earning interest of MY monies that I earned. I emailed back that I want my money NOW, and that I will be seeking legal counsel based on MY experience, along with all the reviews on this site. If you're reading this BEFORE you've dealt with them, RUN! Don't give them a chance, you'll get ripped off. The few positive feedbacks you will find on this thread I'm sure was fabricated by Wepay employees.

Do not use this dreadful company. Run don't walk! After reading the reviews I had a horrible feeling so checked on a "pending" payment. It was for a rental unit and the guest was already there as I expected the payment to go through Friday. Like almost everyone else I was at first told it was coming today and then when I pressed them told they were "sorry" and were cancelling the payment and couldn't process for me as a "high risk" business. Of course I told them ahead of time what the business was - property rentals and it was all fine and dandy. So basically if my guest was not an honest person (which thankfully she is and paid me on [external reference] - of which I have had zero problems with in 7 years of doing business with them) she could have stayed at the unit for free and with no security deposit. She also took a leap of faith that the payment had not been processed - since Wepay sent an email that it had been! Wepay told me that they would send both of us an email showing the payment was cancelled and it never happened! Now they won't respond to me in chat (which is the only way you can expect to "speak" to them as their number does not allow conversation with a real person)We don't pay as it should be called is an absolute nightmare and I would strongly advise you not to ever use them! Here is my conversation with their non customer service rep - so can see how shady they are and the run around you too can expect on your way to losing potentially thousands. See for yourself how they talk out of two sides of their mouths and give misleading information: ME Hi, I need to get a pending payment resolved immediately. Employee: Hi there → ME I need to know if the hold up is on the payees end or on yours Employee: It's just going through our standard processing on our end Employee: You'll see it processed today → ME This is the situation - a guest is renting my property - and she is leaving Friday, xmas is one less day to process btw - and then on Friday I need to refund her the security deposit ($250) out of her payment. →I have read many nightmare stories about your service on the web and am really worried. →I have seen where you will reverse the payment for no reason and if that happens she stayed for free and plus i have no security on any damages. I need an offiicial email immediately that you haven't and won't be processing her payment Employee: You will receive one in 1 minute Employee: So will she → ME okay send me the copy of what she received too please The positive reviews are all written at the same time and all seem fake and written by the company themselves. The business is NOT listed in their legal disclaimers as one they don't serve, so they make that part up in an effort not to pay it seems as they go along.

@[name]: If WePay has to ask you to come here and write a review, then what does that tell you? They do not have a positive experience and have to ask people to write one. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. They also do NOT have good customer service, because they do not have ANY customer service. All the phone numbers I have from their correspondence and that which I found online are all automated systems with no real person. This company is horrible. Started using them in June/July 2013 and loved them. Had no problems at all. Sent invoices and funds were withdrawn automatically into my bank account within 1 day. The trouble came when I got tired of invoicing and added some buttons to my website instead. I received one payment for $112 and another a few days later for $26. When it came time to withdraw, I was asked for a social security number or a tax id number. I gave BOTH, then withdrew funds. Then received an email 2 days later saying my account was closed because my products were "risky" and was "illegal activity." Really? A video giving entrepreneurial advice is "risky" "illegal activity?" I asked them when I would get my money and they said 30 days. Please, I wasn't falling for that. I contacted the customers who sent the money and told them to do chargebacks to get their money back and to pay me via Paypal. I was not going to let WePay earn interest off the money for 30 days. I then did a Google search and found all other other WePay horror stories on the RipOff Report and the Better Business Bureau. To think I was actually going to start endorsing this company and even had plans to find out how I could invest in the company as a possible Angel Investor. Think again. They just shot themselves in the foot. I give the company 3-5 more years before it goes into complete extinction. I hate [external reference], but at least I know how [external reference] operates, been with them since 1999, and I will happily go back to them, as well as my bank merchant account. Once again, if a company has to tell you to write a positive review about them, run from that company.
