When checking mysterious charges on your credit card look for this designation on it: WPY* If you are lucky you'll see it because that means WePay handled the payment and can look it up to tell you what the transaction was for. Their representatives have been very helpful and quick to respond for any questions I've had. I highly recommend them.

Excellent turn around and efficiency.

Not really sure why WePay is so against being able to speak to an actual person, but it's pretty frustrating to have to wait for a response via email about something that would have taken two minutes over the phone. After reading other reviews, I realize I am not the only person with this disposition. I don't know if it's cost cutting or what, but if you have multiple customers complaining about the same problem, wouldn't you do something to solve said issue? Like hire a few phone reps? Even after online research, the only published phone number takes you to a recording saying to email them.

I really thought I would be able to get help with me a shop, however I had 1 donor, & I tried to get the money they would not let me get it like I really need this to start my career and help me out now. Then I go back to the account they deleted it.

For over a week, there has been a problem getting my money into my bank account and I am not getting an explanation as to why. All they are telling me is there is a technical issue. Totally unacceptable.
Response from WePayFeb 23, 2016
Hi Ellyn, We really are very sorry for the delay in getting the money in your account sent out to you. This was an error in our system that was not recognizing the available balance you had, which prevented the funds from being sent out. We're very happy to say though, as our colleague K.C. indicated in a follow up email to you yesterday, that the funds are on their way now and should show up in your bank account in the next few days. Once again, we are really sorry for that error and we are working to make sure it doesn't happen again. If there is anything else we can do or clarify on this situation, don't hesitate to let us know at [email protected]. Regards, The WePay Customer Delight Team

I set up an account with WePay only because Constant Contact said they were moving over to their payment format. It took me over 30 minutes and two tickets and over 5 emails. What could have taken place with one 30 second phone call wasted 30 minutes of my time. Clearly this company does not respect their customer base and does not understand business practices that grow a customer base. Very disappointed.

Hi Rebecca, We are incredibly sorry if this experience was not as smooth as easy as it should have been. We care a lot about our customers and want to ensure when they set up with a partner like Constant Contact that it's as easy as possible. Unfortunately it looks like you had some troubles early on, but our team has followed up with a few emails and it does look like your account is all set and money is on its way to you now. If we can help with anything else though, please do let us know! Best, The WePay Customer Delight Team

I lost my house in a fire and everything I had. I need my money to eat and get back on my feet! They will not respond to emails, I have sent them 2 and have not heard anything!

A absolute refusal to provide an answer to why my account was closed is unreasonable. WePay are the payment processors for a crowdfunding site that I had a campaign on. There was something that went wrong with my account with them. I have no clue as to what. I didn't do anything wrong that I could tell looking at their terms and conditions. They won't work with me. It took forever to get a response back from them, and their response of: "we’re not able to process payments for your account. Our banks and processors hold us to a strict guideline on what we can and cannot process through our site. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you or your business with our services. With regard to any questions you might have as to why this might have happened, unfortunately, I have no information for you. Our review process is proprietary and, therefore, no information is given out in situations like these." ...simply isn't good enough. I don't think no answer for why my account was closed is a sufficient answer. I set this up as a fundraising opportunity through a crowdfunding site for my daughters mission trip to Puerto Rico, and even had some donations that now won't see the light of day. I should have a least be given the opportunity to refute whatever reason they closed my account was. But I was refused the opportunity to do so.
