I have only left 3 reviews in my life. I had to speak up with this one. Out of all my years setting up ecommerce for clients and receiving money through sources like Paypal, I have never EVER seen something like this. I have been unable to pay my workers going onto 13 days now! Why? Because Wepay decided to hold my money, not properly notify when it will be released and their dashboard doesn't even say if it has withdrawn. They say it takes 7 days, and it's been 13! Even 7 is way too long when I get my money next day, latest 2 days later from Paypal and square. They also said I won't get all the money. Nope. They will hold the rest for another 7 days. Don't EVER use their service, especially if you take in large amounts. You won't see your money and you will regret it dearly. I regret not listening to the bad reviews and giving these guys a chance. The only reason why I tried them was because my invoicing company recommended it. I will be speaking with them about this shady service and instead recommend they end their partnership or they will have a lot of angry people on their backs and build a bad reputation.

I've used it twice to raise money through youcaring which helped me a lot. Dia helped me immensely when i couldn't figure out how to verify my phone number and responded quickly and politely!

This is the most horrible company and experience we’ve ever had. they do not have a method in which they can escalate your concern or refer to a supervisory team. They cannot give you a timeline in which your deposit will be made to your account, they will only say that they will get to when they can get to it and once deposited it will take 2 to 5 days but no definitive date. Their fees are rather high and unlike wonderful Apple Pay, PayPal or square and others they really have no way to contact them by phone! any of the other companies you can reach by phone in seconds . Stay away from wepay Unless you want to get jerked around and have no idea where or when you’re going to get your money. You are totally at their mercy which is so unprofessional.

Had a question about a charge, the answered me right away no issues

Do not trust WePay as your business processor! They engage in careless business practices. They approved my registration, allowed me to send an invoice, allowed my client to pay the invoice, and then they notified me that they would not allow me to use there service and would be reversing the transaction. I reached out to support and they said my account was flagged as high risk for charge backs. I asked why I was flagged as high risk, as I have been using other online payment services for years without any issues and never a single charge back. Patrick on their support team informed me that their review process was proprietary and that they would not tell me why. I have since read various reviews across the internet that confirm this is a very common practice for WePay. The fact that they allow you to register does not mean that they will do business with you. This is very strange as the registration process included questions that could have served this purpose. If this were a rare occurrence they could claim it was some second level review that caused the cancellation of service, but the magnitude of people complaining of this same scenario means that they are engaging in careless business practices and should not be trusted as a payment processor. This begs the question of whether they are careless in any of the other processes that involve confidential financial information.

I think using wepay is easy and the customer service I received from Dia when I did have a problem, was excellent! The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars, is because I feel when using wepay in conjunction with a fund raising website, like youcaring, the fees are a bit high. I think having just the 2.9% would be fine, but when many people are donating $5, $10, $20, or $25, having that and a $0.30 fee is a bit much and makes it so we can't give the organization or people in need as much.
