I cancelled before renewal and was charged $99 on a credit card anyway. Joke and expensive one at that!
The "merchant" phone doesn't say it's Welltory. Left a message. No response yet.

Thank you for your review. We weren’t present here before, which is why we’re responding later. Subscriptions renew automatically unless they’re canceled before the renewal date, but if you canceled and still saw a charge, that’s definitely something we’d like to investigate for you.

I have been trying to get assistance…
I have been trying to get assistance for weeks and sent multiple emails to their support area with no response! I need help cancelling my subscription and being refunded for my renewal that was just charged!
Update. A representative did reach out to me and resolved my issue
Response from WelltoryOct 1, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re really sorry it took longer than it should have for you to get assistance. We just started engaging on this platform, so our response took time.
If you ever need help again in the future, the fastest way is to send us a bug report directly from the app (Menu → Report a problem): this way, our support team can check your account right away and respond quickly.

Misleading data and biased design – not suitable for serious users
I’ve been using Welltory Premium for nearly 3 months, and as someone who takes their health and data seriously, I feel completely misled.
This app presents itself as a scientific tool, but its feedback system is fundamentally flawed. The stress, energy, and health percentages are not objective — they’re based on rigid internal algorithms that ignore broader context and flatten complex physiological signals into color-coded warnings. Despite consistent and improving HRV data from my Apple Watch (often showing healthy readings in the 40–60ms range), the app repeatedly flagged me as being in a constant state of stress and poor recovery.
I didn’t rely on fluffy advice or generic messages — I watched the numbers. And what I saw was a system that cherry-picked low HRV readings while ignoring the higher ones, painting an overly negative and inaccurate picture. The constant red/orange visual cues and unsubstantiated “danger” warnings triggered unnecessary distress and made me feel like I was physiologically unstable, even when my data said otherwise.
This app may be fine for casual users, but for anyone neurodivergent, trauma-aware, or with real physiological insight — Welltory will distort your data and erode your trust in your body. I strongly advise caution, especially if you are already navigating nervous system sensitivity.

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review. We didn’t handle messages on this platform before, which is why we’re responding later.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with Welltory left you feeling misled and discouraged. Our aim is never to cause distress, but to help users make sense of their signals in a supportive way.
To clarify, Welltory’s stress, energy, and health scores are built on heart rate variability (HRV) and related metrics, interpreted through algorithms that compare your daily data against your personal baseline. HRV is highly individual and context-dependent, and fluctuations are normal and can reflect factors like sleep quality, recovery load, or hidden stressors, even when absolute values like 40–60 ms might appear “healthy” in general population terms. That’s why you may have seen differences between your Apple Watch HRV readings and Welltory’s visual feedback.
Your feedback is important, and we’ve shared it with our product team, as one of our priorities is to make these insights clearer and more balanced, especially for users who are neurodivergent, trauma-aware, or sensitive to how this information is presented. We want the app to support, not undermine, trust in your body.
If you’d like, please send us a bug report directly from the app (Menu → scroll down → Report a problem) with examples of where you felt the analysis was misleading. Our support team can review the specific measurements and would be glad to clarify.
Thank you again for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review. Even though your experience was difficult, your insights are invaluable in helping us improve Welltory for both casual and serious users.

Welltory customers are their beta testers
The 2 stars are only for those who think 1-star reviews are just angry rants. The following is not a rant. It is overwhelming disappointment.
I am trying to use Welltory's HRV analysis and collect health and environment data from multiple devices and apps I use for vitals, sleep, activity, etc. I have a disabling illness so health data analysis and correlation would be very useful. I am also tech-savvy and I know my way around data and apps. Finally, I work in enterprise so I know when a customer is being taken for a fool.
1. First, Welltory data processing and data analysis is not reliable. Data availability is a hit and miss. Data integrity is not verified, so you cannot trust what you see. The app and 'help center' offer no clear guidance on how to set things up properly - instead, the gamification pulls you in many directions that eventually prove detrimental to data quality. Correlation graphs include incorrect data, missing data, wrong baseline calculations - How can you trust any information, after such blatant problems are introduced to your data? How can this terrible quality be offered as a commercial service?
Other examples: you have no way of knowing reliably what data is retrieved from which platform (they are instead grouped in obscure non-customizable categories), or what third party connections are set up or not. The status information is not updated as one expects.
By the way, the gamification is a total miss, since you can't even complete missions due to various integration problems and bugs.
2. The application bugs are countless. I use a recent flagship phone, so I expect paid apps to work. Well, I've had to reinstall the app so many times, close and reopen, and some bugs are still there and replicable. For example, the settings where you can manage third party app integration is a gimmick that takes many days to update your live connections. Other examples include profile customization problems, navigation problems, etc.
3. The claims of third party integrations are dishonest. For example, Welltory claims integration with Omron blood pressure monitors - however, that integration relies on google Fit which is being deprecated (and for which Welltory is not able to establish new connections, a long-standing problem apparently). So, Omron integration will not work, and Welltory did not even bother to ask them for their roadmap, nor did they feel the need to take down the ads for Omron even after they've admitted to all of the above...
4. User support is sub par - they will ask you to debug and work around their terrible implementation and make you try again over and over. Their support medium is a chat tool inside the app - however, it lacks basic functionality like knowing problem report status (open, in progress, closed). Good luck finding your way in your list of problem reports - even the agents have lost track.
5. Customer service is non-existent - if you contact them by email, you are redirected to the same problem reporting tool (the same people staff both with the same procedures!). I work in enterprise myself and problem reports are the last thing a user needs to know about. So, you're discussing both customer value and bug workarounds with the same partially available person.
Overall, it feels like Welltory uses its paid customers as beta testers. Alpha testers even.
Their promise is grand, but the experience is outrageous.
Response from WelltoryOct 3, 2025
Hi Philippe,
This is our first time being active on this platform, so our response wasn’t immediate. Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear how frustrating your experience has been, and we understand that when you’re investing in a health app, especially while managing a serious condition, you expect reliability, clarity, and trust above all.
On data quality and analysis
You’re right that HRV and other physiological signals are complex and require context. Welltory’s algorithms work by comparing daily data to your personal baseline, but we know issues like missing values, integration delays, or unclear categorization can make results feel inconsistent. Your feedback highlights exactly where we need to improve. Thank you for this!
On bugs and integrations
We know that bugs can ruin the experience, even on flagship devices. Some integration issues are limited by third-party changes that are outside our direct control, but you can connect the Omron Connect app to Health Connect, and then Welltory will be able to receive your data from there.
On customer support
It’s disappointing to hear that your support interactions felt repetitive and unhelpful. If anything is still relevant, please send us a new bug report from the app, that way our support team can review your case directly and provide clearer answers about your specific data and integrations.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. Even though this was a difficult experience, reviews like yours are invaluable in helping us improve for users.

Welltory App Review: A Mixed Experience
I downloaded Welltory hoping to track my well-being and get insights into my energy levels and sleep patterns. Unfortunately, the app’s assessments felt way off. Despite feeling happy and full of life, it kept telling me I was having bad days with extremely low energy. It also claimed I wasn’t sleeping enough, even though I felt well-rested and functioned fine all day.
I think well-being is deeply personal, and boxing everyone into rigid categories doesn’t always work. While Welltory might click for some, it didn’t reflect my reality, leaving me confused by its readings. The app could improve by offering more tailored assessments that respect individual differences. Trusting your own feelings should come first, and this app didn’t align with mine.
In the end, Welltory may not suit everyone. I’d suggest exploring other ways to monitor well-being if you’re looking for something that feels more accurate and intuitive.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and honest review. We weren’t represented here earlier, so we’re getting back to you now with a delay. We’re really sorry to hear that your experience with Welltory felt misaligned with how you were actually feeling.
To clarify, Welltory’s measures are based on physiological markers like heart rate variability (HRV), which can sometimes pick up hidden strain or stress that you may not consciously feel. While this can provide helpful insights for many people, it doesn’t always match up with subjective feelings in the moment, and you’re absolutely right that well-being is deeply personal.
Your suggestion about more tailored assessments is very important, and it’s something our team is continuously working on. Our goal is not to box users into rigid categories, but to help them understand patterns in their data over time while still trusting their own experience.
We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us see where we need to improve and be more flexible. Even if Welltory wasn’t the right fit for you, we’re grateful you gave it a try and took the time to share your perspective.

Well I used it for a month
Well I used it for a month. It is not accurate according to my doctor. I just had my yearly physical im 57 years old so my doc did every test she could have done and came up normal. Not the app. She said stop using it because it drive you crazy. I paid for a year because the app said $100 or $8.77 a year something like that. So I thought $8.77 a month but got charged 100. Don’t go down the rabbit hole.
Response from WelltoryOct 7, 2025
Thanks for sharing your experience, and we’re really sorry to hear that the app caused you frustration. We’ve only just started replying to messages here, so there’s a delay.
Welltory isn’t a medical device, and its insights are based on heart rate variability (HRV) and other physiological signals, which can fluctuate daily and don’t always align perfectly with medical test results. The goal is to help you notice trends and how lifestyle factors affect your well-being, not to replace medical evaluation.
As for the charge: subscriptions renew annually, and the $8.77 you saw is the monthly equivalent of the yearly plan ($99 billed once per year). This is clarified in the App Store before confirming the purchase.
If you’d like us to check your subscription details or discuss your situation further, please send a bug report from the app (Menu → Report a problem) or email us at [email protected], and our team will gladly review it for you.

Terrible - You'll think you're dying!
Consistently provided incorrect information, repeatedly causing unnecessary anxiety by making me think I was seriously ill, even though I felt perfectly fine. Do yourself a favor and delete this app immediately.
Response from WelltoryOct 7, 2025
We’re really sorry to hear that your experience with the app made you feel this way, as that’s never what we want. We didn’t handle messages on this platform before, which is why we’re responding later.
Welltory analyzes heart rate variability (HRV) to show how your body responds to stress, recovery, and fatigue, but it’s not a medical tool and can’t diagnose illness. Sometimes HRV can fluctuate due to simple things like lack of sleep, caffeine, or dehydration, and that can look alarming when you actually feel fine.
We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Terrible app
Having read all the one and two star reviews, I completely agree. Then again, what do you want from finding an app on Instagram? I never purchased the premium subscription, however, I use the free version several times a day and noticed that the stress indicator was absolutely off as other people have mentioned. This is a company that doesn’t have its ducks in a row. I’m not sure the company will be around along. This is a total failure of an app and the dangerous thing is you think you’re getting medical information. Highly do not recommend. I’m removing the app from my phone now.
Response from WelltoryOct 7, 2025
We’re really sorry to hear that your experience with Welltory left such a negative impression. We weren’t present here before, which is why we’re responding later.
Welltory isn’t a medical app and doesn’t provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations. Our goal is to help users track trends in their heart rate variability (HRV) and other metrics to understand how stress, recovery, and lifestyle habits affect their bodies, but not to replace professional care.
We also take feedback like yours seriously and are continuously working to make our insights clearer and more consistent, especially for users of the free version. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, as it genuinely helps us improve.
