Their external hard drives are the best. I have 4tb version to store my photos and videos. It works great but it doesn’t come with the right format for the Mac users They should take care Mac users.

Ich kann Western Digital auf keinen Fall empfehlen! Ich habe eine Festplatte bestellt die direkt am ersten Tag kaputt gegangen ist. Support Email werden nicht beantwortet, Anrufe beim Support sind möglich, die Mitarbeiter sind höflich, aber ich habe nach mehrmaligem anrufen bislang weder das Ticket zur Rücksendung erhalten, noch mein Geld. Wer Lust hat mindestens eine Woche hinterher zu telefonieren, kann da gerne bestellen. Ich werde in diesem Leben sicher nichts mehr bei dieser Firma bestellen!

I haven't had a single WD drive fail on me. An old Scorpio Blue 2.5" is still working fine to this day, with two older WD Enterprise Storage drives also running excellently. I've yet to have a failure with a WD disk. To the guys at WD: Your products are great!

i bought this so that i could finally get all my data stored in one place from music to important files and pictures. the entire setup process is ok but even for somebody like myself it isnt just a simple plug and play solution which was pretty much what i was looking for. first of all the good points , after the setup you can pretty much use it from anywhere to access files and it seems after two months to be working well it backs up my pc and all mobile phones in the household easily and im happy with the job it does its very unobtrusive and quite a nice looking thingwhen sat on a desk. unfortunately thats it. the setup process is not explained at all. all you get is a single card the rest is up to you. secondly if you wasnt to stream anything from it you are pretty much stuck with plex cos thats your only option. you can stream music to a mobile device but only one track at a time you cant even set a playlist, with the native apps that is. i eventually found an app inthe apple appstore called cloud beats which does exactly what i wanted its just a shame that wd dont have native apps like this. overall im happy with the my cloud home just wish wd had asked the general public who are using it what they would want in a cloud based home server

Ich habe vor 1,5 jahren eine 8 TB MY BOOK Festplatte von WD erworben. Diese Platte hatte noch nicht einmal 200 Betriebsstunden (weil als Backup verwendet). Nun ist sie defekt und kann nicht mehr formatiert werden. Das eigentlich schlimme ist aber der katastrophale Service von WD. Die Service-Tools funktionieren teilweise nicht, man wird immer im Kreis herumgeschickt. Es gibt nur eine weltweite Servicenummer von WD. Dort melden sich Leute mit Vornamen, damit sie nicht zu idendifizieren sind (Judith, Simone, Konstantin, also Allerweltsnamen). Ich habe mehrere Tage versucht, eine vernünftige Kommunikation mit dem Service aufzubauen. Nicht möglich. RMA und Rücksendeinformationen gab es nicht. Also Platte wegwerfen. Bad harddisk and worse customer support

I have a "my home cloud" for storing all my work files I bought another "my home cloud" which I wanted to be offsite in case of fire etc. Not being very tech, I thought this would be easy to do, I was so wrong! Since purchasing, I have now found that you can't have two! You simply cannot have two on the same account! I have been scanning the web for a fix and so many people seem to have the same problem with no answer I have emailed them for a fix, but they have not yet responded to me!

An item I wanted was out of stock so I requested to be notified once it was back. Ordered my product and item has been shipped with tracking. Great shop
