Needed a specific Micro sd card that I couldn't find available elsewhere but Western Digital had it in stock and it was delivered free of charge.

Raise an issue about a HD I bought from them, raised it in October - heard absolutely nothing back - last time I'll buy any of their products - shoddy products and even shoddier "support"!

I buyed WD product from Teknosa, Anadoluhisarı branch İstanbul Turkey. 5 terra byte wd elements 5tb wdbu6y0050bbk 2.5" Black worldwide. from the first day product comes with harddisk error, when cycle turning it makes sound. Western Digital has no quality control over their merchandise at Turkey and their distrubutor service Arena Bilgisayar has the worst service ever. The new product directly go to the service for repairs and returned from service at worst condition more sound and more deffect. And their respond to given service is there is nothing wrong with the product. Basically Western Digital products has no quality control and not working from the first day and its like their distributor here at Turkey justs gets the money and runaway. I just want to use the product and thats about it but unusable. Do not buy anything from Western Digital Brand especially If you reside at Turkey region.

Last year I purchased a WD Home drive after the one I already owned was no longer being supported and as such was rendered useless. At the time I wondered whether I should buy another network drive or another alternative. Sadly I made the wrong decision and purchased another WD Home drive at a cost of £150. YET Again in under 12 months WD have just informed me that come June, they are ending support for this drive. I am left with another useless drive. I've spent approx £350 on these drives. I will never purchase any WD product in future. I think that they should be made to refund customers as they have made their products not fit for purpose.

Dead Company, Used to be the best for drives now they don't support hard drives for barely a few years. Be glad when they go into bankruptcy as they're clearly moronic and don't even know how to make a fluid experience and rebuild the same crap over and over again then sell it as a new experience only to drop support a few years later. Currently they just alerted everyone that their WD My Book is now being discontinued barely a few years after launch. It's a god damn hard drive with wifi connectivity it's not rocket science you incompetent charlatans. Spent thousands on drives for servers etc in past but no longer. Goodbye WD, please cease to exist.

Ich kann mich der Bewertung von Herrn Falk leider nur anschließen. Wir sind ein IT-Systemhaus und haben eine große Anzahl an defekten SSD/HDD zur Garantie Abwicklung nach CZ eingesendet. Es geht hier aktuell um insgesamt knapp 50000 Euro Warenwert. Alle Pakete sind in CZ angenommen, passiert ist bis heute nichts. Im System von WD wurden die Produkte dieser RMAs auch bis heute nicht als erhalten angezeigt. Nachdem die Pakete schon vor 3 Monaten dort eingetroffen sind und sich seitdem nichts mehr getan gehe ich hier auch von systematischen Betrug aus. Ich kann daher nur ausdrücklich davor warnen. Man sollte hier wohl baldmöglichst rechtliche Mittel einleiten. Die größte Frechheit ist das sich von einem Unternehmen dieser Größe nicht mal jemand die Mühe macht Kunden zu kontaktieren oder zu informieren. Wir haben uns daher auch dazu entschieden den Vertrieb von WD Produkten mit sofortiger Wirkung einzustellen. Hier macht die Konkurrenz wie Seagate und Toshiba eindeutig einen besseren Job!

Bei dieser Anzahl von gleichlautenden, negativen Bewertungen kann man inzwischen wohl von systematischen Betrug ausgehen. Auch bei mir genau das Gleiche. RMA laut UPS am 28.12.2022 12:38 in Krupka, CZ zugestellt Seit damals (inzwischen über 3 Wochen) Schweigen. Bei einer ersten Nachfrage wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass eine Rücksendung nach ca. 4 Werktagen erfolgt. Nur, zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren schon 7 Werktage vergangen. Inzwischen antwortet der Support nicht einmal mehr. Unglaublich! Ich denke, dass hat mit dem Subunternehmen dort zu tun. Früher, mit dem RMA-Unternehmen in GB gab es nicht einmal auch nur ansatzweise ein Problem. Nun kann man von WD nur dringend abraten! Ich werde nun den Konsumentenschutz einschalten und auch Heise.de informieren. Da ich auch eine gute Rechtschutz habe, überlege ich mir ernsthaft auch in diese Richtung aktiv zu werden!
