The most unhelpful, stupid cloud storage system I have ever had. The syncing between files uploaded via laptop to be available on the mobile takes days. Every time I'm trying to log in on the cloud account it keeps saying my credentials is wrong and requires a force reset a log in details, for it to fail next day. There is nowhere to find help. Trying to log in to their portal and keep log me out

I purchased a Western Digital Hard drive August 21 2024 , it has a 3 year warranty , I purchased it from a supplier who has closed their doors, I reach out to Western Digital when the drive failed last month, I was told to take pictures of the drive and send a copy of the invoice, which I did, after several weeks I was told that they would not honour the warranty because it was an end of life drive, I explained that it was not my fault or issue that the company I purchased from has closed their doors, so then they asked to get a letter form the store even though it clearly states it was a closure of the store, so they said there is nothing they would do this is ridiculous. We should all apply for a class action suit against Western Digital it may force them to respect there clients.

2 von 2 WD Red Plus 12TB sind nach 6 Monaten innerhalb von 24h kaputt gegangen. Die dritte Festplatte (eine ironwolf) hat keine Probleme. Eine Festplatte komplett defekt, eine ohne Partitionstabelle. Die zwei Festplatten sind inzwischen seit 6 Wochen bei Western Digital. Mir wird immerwieder versichert man kümmert sich. Inzwischen antwortet man mir einfach nicht mehr. WD have dropped Anti Virus for their WDMyCloud EX2….NO ANTI VIRUS…it’s a NAS but once you buy…YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!!

Habe "Sofort Lieferbare" WD_Gold Festplatten zu einem guten Preis erwischt und das Geld direkt überwiesen. Einen Tag später sprang der Lieferstatus der Platten von "Sofort Lieferbar" auf "In 3-4 Wochen lieferbar". Eine Lieferung wurde für einen Monat später versprochen. Nicht passiert. Support war unverschämt und nicht hilfreich. Nach drei Monaten wurde mir mein Geld zurücküberwiesen und die Platten waren für 200€ teurer wieder "sofort lieferbar". Die Kosten für neue Platten haben sich in diesem Zeitraum dank AI-Rechenzentren verdoppelt. Und ich stehe ohne Platten da. **** euch, WD! Ernsthaft! Nie wieder!

Stay away from WD products. I set up a WD NAS drive with 2 x 4TB WD hard drives. I stored many invaluable family memories (photos, videos etc). The drive failed without warning and most of these precious memories are gone forever. I emailed WD support and asked about NAS drive repair options and replacement parts. They provided absolutely no support so I removed one of my mirrored drives and used Linux Reader to copy it to a Seagate 4TB drive. A majority of the files were corrupted and unreadable.
