It is to snug. The wheels are to big for a small dog

In the picture, the harness looked exactly like what I was looking for. I have a 13.5 year old Gordon Setter male whose hind end is now very weak and wobbly. I wanted this harness in the hopes he could walk a little further with the assist of the harness and I liked that it had long straps for the owner to use as a leash. The harness is SO complicated and didn't come with any pictorial instructions... recommendations: COLOR CODE the straps so it is easy to know what goes where (like the Easy-Walk harnesses). The straps that fit around the torso have nothing to lock them in place and slip right out of the buckle. When you have a large dog who has difficulty standing, try putting this harness on 65 pounds of dead weight--trying to lift the hind end of the dog and figure out where all the straps are supposed to go... etc. When I finally got it on him, he FELL 3 times just trying to walk from the kitchen out thru the garage. The harness is very stiff and bulky... not at all what I expected from the picture. I also think a fleece lining on the part that goes against the dog's skin would make it more comfortable as well as fleece leg holes rather than the stiff harness material. I plan on returning it. Even though I'm very unhappy with the product, I gave it three stars because I'm appreciative of a company that is trying to help handicapped dogs. The item got here very quickly and shipping was free.

it is a good quality product that I hope I will not have to use for a long time

It takes entirely too long for processing and shipping when you have a dog in desperate need of mobility. It makes it even worse when you need different sized struts and have to reorder those. Hearing back from customer service via email started off great and ended up taking too long in itself outside of having to reorder new parts for the chair.

Bought the front and rear harness (ready to be attached to the wheelchair) for my 14yr old German Shepherd / Golden Retriever mix. He has an old acl tear in his left knee and overcompensating has left his right hip weaker. We've been doing ramps, he has a Bully Bed, he's fully carnivore (fresh meat from the local butcher), and he gets joint supplements (super snouts green lipped mussel) and CBD oil (he has epilepsy, seizure free!). We have knee and "wrist" braces, which he only sometimes tolerates. He's headstrong and will walk til he drops. He still tries to run, which turns into a slow trot. So he still moves really well. He had injured his front wrist, and with that and his hip and knee... he wasn't getting around at all. I quickly ordered this set, though he healed before it came (and it was quick shipping). Thankfully I had already done the research, had the page saved and everything, and wanted this brand. (Figured due to his breed and past injuries, this day would come.) I'm impressed. The fit of the rear harness is eh, but unless you get a custom fit, it's difficult to size dogs because they're all built different due to mixed breeding. I got a L per measured instructions but had to tighten it as small as it would go. I hate returns so we made it work. And it works amazing. He doesn't even care when it's on - and that's huge! this dog hates anything I put on him - but he just walks faster once he realizes he has support. I love his spirit. Since I'm now behind him holding the rear harness, though, he keeps looking for me to be beside him and won't move forward until he knows I'm there. We're retraining for that. But most of the time he doesn't need the harness. But I'm thankful I have it because it works great. The front harness fits very well but we haven't used it yet. It's bulky and like I said, he hates anything I put on him.. so we have to work up to that one. To be honest, I'm hoping they remain as emergency backups. Thinking of purchasing the wheelchair just to have on hand, just in case, hoping to never use it, ya know? I would definitely recommend this. But keep in mind it might take a bit for your pup to get used to moving around in it. So it's best to buy it before you need it so you can get your dog used to it. It's super easy to put on and adjust. It takes a little work to coordinate holding the harness while your dog walks.. seems like a simple concept but oddly enough, not as easy as it looks. And at first he refused to do his business with it on, but he got over that pretty quick and so far so good. I take the rear harness with me on every walk (we walk 3-4 times a day) and have only needed it a few times. The peace of mind is priceless.

Hello! Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It makes us so happy to know we have made our customers and their pets more comfortable and made their life a little easier. I think your method of introducing your dog to the products before they need to fully rely on it is very smart. Please let us know if you decide you would like to get a wheelchair so we can assist you in selecting the best size.

I’m very satisfied with my purchase

Easy to assemble and adjust. Most importantly though, my pup doesn't hate it!

I suspect the equipment sent to me is well made and probably works if properly sized and if the individual item is appropriate for the dog for whom it was ordered. Neither was the case in my two attempts. The first item should never have been ordered for my dog since, even based upon the sizing guide at the website, the harness was impossible to get on my dog due to being way too small. The replacement device suggested by customer service was another matter. On the website, using their sizing guidelines, my dog needed an XL but I was advised by the customer service person with whom I spoke, that the sizing guidelines were incorrect and that my dog required a size L. Further, she told me the original device should never have been ordered for my dog's needs. Ultimately the second device arrived and was again, way too small. Neither of the sizing instructions involved enough measurements to provide a proper fit. In the second case, while the openings for my dog's legs (the only measurement required) was barely adequate, there was nowhere near enough dimension to make it around his waist, for which no measurement was required. In the end I was told I would get a partial refund for the first order and a full refund for the second, since I was given poor guidance from their own staff, but even that didn't happen. Both devices were returned and I only got partial refunds. I will not be ordering from this company again. While they probably make good products, their website is inaccurate, their customer service agents are ill-informed, and they don't follow through on their promises.
