Our tiny chihuahua, who fell from the bed and has been unable to use her back legs, is slowly adjusting to the new wheels. She's tiny, only 4.5 pounds, so our vet had some trouble making the proper adjustments. Now that she has, our chi seems to move well, and I do regular rehab with her in the hope she will regain use of her legs. The wheels allow her to move around the room and try to get her back legs moving.

Great experience. Sadly I had to cancel my order because my 12 year old German Shepherd did not make it & we had to let him go. I ordered on Friday & we ended up having to let him go on Monday. Not only did they cancel my order, they did so with grace and expressed condolences for my loss. I called in & spoke to a rep. and she was so very kind & caring. I felt the compassion from someone that did not know me or my dog at all. Your company will be highly recommended by me to all of my friends and family.

Our beautiful 11yo GSD suddenly lost mobility in his hind legs. He is suffering from heart failure but had been doing very well on medication. He’d been EXTREMELY active right up until he wasn’t. His whole world was running after balls and hikes and numerous daily walks. Vet thought it could have been a blood clot that restricted flow to his legs. He started to falter on a walk and an hour later had lost use of the legs. He immediately became very depressed. We wasted no time in ordering the large wheelchair. We had it shipped overnight and received it on the west coast at 2 pm the next day. It was easy to put together. Super sturdy. A bit of a learning curve to get the fit adjusted, we emailed photos of him in the chair and received a fast response with advice on what adjustments to try. He really didn’t care how well it fit…. Took off running right away so happy to be moving again!! We seem to have gotten it fine tuned after some minor trial and error. It took a few days for all of us to get used to getting him in and out but we’re now pretty comfortable with it after less than a week. Definitely takes 2 of us still to get his legs through the holes. (He’s a large dog and his hind legs twist together.) We have to hold him up with a towel to transition from the help-him-up harness into the wheelchair but after that it’s a piece of cake! His new nickname has to be Hell on Wheels!!! We don’t know how much time we have left with him but it’s such a joy to have him excited about something in his life again. Every contact we’ve had with the folks at Walk-in-wheels has been wonderful. These people really do care.
