Summary of experience:I really wish to hear from someone at Walgreens. We had Covid PCR tests taken last Thursday at 10:00 AM. Two tests. One for me and another for my wife. All went fine, we handed the tests in at the window and we were told that they go out FedX express and we should have our results in 24 to 48 hours. We made plans to cross the Canada border and to find lodging etc. We figured we would drive to the border on Saturday figuring that our test results would arrive along the way. THEY DID NOT. We called the Walgreens to find out what was going on. It turns out that the samples taken last Thursday morning NEVER WENT OUT! and NO ONE EVER CALLED US. In fact the samples were sitting in the store. The excuse being that FedX would not pick them up! They claimed that they had called again and again. How weird is that? We had to lose our reservations and drive ALL THE WAY BACK HOME since it is a requirement to have a PCR test in hand to cross the border. We stopped at the store on the way back and we were lied to on several accounts. We were told there was no tracking number (there was) and the person at the window told us she was the manager when in fact she was not the store manager. We called FedX to see if wee could get them to pick up the samples today otherwise our vacation plans were kaput. Finally the real manager came out, and we worked with him and the tracking number to get FedX to come before the end of the day (it was 3:00 PM by now). WHY DID NO ONE JUST DRIVE THE PACKAGE TO THE NEARBY (LESS THAN 1/4 MILE AWAY) FEDX STORE AND DROP THEM OFF. WHY DID NO ONE CALL US TO LET US KNOW OUR SAMPLES WERE DELAYED??? Oh and BTW, your automated phone system JUST MAKES LIFE DIFFICULT with multiple selections when a real person would be REAL customer service. I can only imagine older people trying to use this system. COMPLETELY UNWORKABLE!!! These automated "customer service" systems DO NOT WORK. Pay a real person to answer the phone and help people with real problems. These systems are rigged to hang up/put you on hold and frustrate the caller so they give up. Come on...we are better than this!

They have clean stores and I've always had friendly service but the prices! My goodness, it seems like everything in there is double what it costs elsewhere. I unfortunately can no longer be a patron.

Was scheduled for COVID test got off work early got there to the scheduled time the confirmation email said and what I got was sorry we had computer glitch no test for you what a waste of time Spokane wa store on division and lincoln

The pharmacists at the Walgreens at: 5055 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, Ca 94609 are very rude. Go somewhere else for your meds. --N. Srinivasan

Walgreens in Rockingham, NC....an absolutely horrible pharmacy. Rude, lazy and incompetent staff. Medications are often unavailable.

Totally untrustworthy! When you go get a COVID test you expect some degree of accuracy. When Walgreens confirms 24 and 12 hours prior to appointment, then is "out of test kits due to national shortage" when you arrive- its hard to believe anything they report. How can they not match up number of appointments and number of kits? if they cant do that --they might not be able to match my name to the right sample either. If they could confirm twice- why not reschedule? Totally irresponsible and untrustworthy.

45 minutes outside waiting in line can't get out of just to pick up a prescription???? Won't be coming here again

I went through the pharmacy drive thru to get some hydrocortisone cream for my 10 month old son. He has hand foot and mouth so I didn’t want to get him out of the car to grab it because it is a very contagious virus. I ask the girl if she could grab it for me and she said hold on. Goes and tells her coworkers what I’m needing then comes back and asked me what strength I was needing. I told her just 1% otc. She once again goes and talk to her coworkers and comes back and asked if I could go inside and grab it myself. I explained to her that I couldn’t because I did not want to get my son out of the car since he has hand foot and mouth. She once again goes and talks to her coworkers and come back with with of them and he tells me no they couldn’t grab it. That I would have to go inside and grab it myself. I was like really? I can’t he has a virus that is contagious, you can’t just take 5 seconds to grab it for me? He told me no because they had 100 prescriptions to fill. I told him but it’s literally right in front of you. He said correct we cannot go grab it. He was so insensitive. So I left and went to Walmart. I asked the guy at the drive thru if he could grab hydrocortisone for me and explained to him just like I did at Walgreens that my baby has hand foot and mouth or else I would grab it myself. He was SUPER nice and said of course I’ll go grab it! No more than a few seconds later comes back checks me out and I’m on my way back home. I usually fill all of my prescriptions at Walgreens but will now be transferring everything out to Walmart! Walgreens needs some customer service training!
