I have two stories from this awful place...
I have two stories from this awful place. First I was in Virginia Beach (Holland Road) in Mid March and my 7 month old daughter got very sick, some kind of stomach bug, had to go to the ER due to dehydration. ER sent over a prescription for 2 Zofran tablets. I called ahead to see if they received the order and they claimed they had not and the woman on the phone was extremely rude about my insurance. Claimed I had Medicaid and they couldn't help me. I said I will pay cash, my daughter needs this medication. I go to the drive thru because my daughter is sleeping to check and see if it is ready. The first middle aged woman was polite, but had to check if it was ready. I asked if they could let me use a good rx card, a younger woman came up and said no, i had to bring one myself, even though they always have them available for everyone. I asked when it could be ready because my daughter has never had a prescription and it didn't show in the app. They told me they couldn't tell me when it could be ready. 2 ZOFRAN, for a 7 MONTH OLD INFANT who was very ill. They wanted me to come back later with my sick infant even though no one was in the drive thru and no one was inside because the window is large and you can see the counter. I waited a bit since my daughter had fallen asleep and they got it ready after about 30 minutes. I brought up a GoodRX app and they honored it but the younger woman gave me an attitude and was smirking at me. A concerned mother who had 0 sleep, they decided to bully me rather than help. Next one is the Walgreens at 1525 Veterans Pkwy in Bloomington, IL. I have had numerous issues with this location just picking and choosing what they want to fill. Once at Christmas they would not fill medication for nausea, Protonix and Phenergan, would not fill it. This past Friday my doctor sent a prescription for Tramadol for a Grade 3 sprain that I have that is not healing well and causing me lots of pain. Pharmacy on Friday claims they are "reviewing prescription." I call because I am going out of town and wanted to be able to use the medication as directed and be able to walk with a little less pain as I cannot take any NSAIDS. I called, they state that they are out of stock, I say okay, do you know when it might be back in? They say "no." No explanation, nothing. I contact my doctor on Monday (today) and give them a location Walgreens told me was in stock. Still Walgreens, next town over. They receive the order and it appears both were sent to the same location. I call Walgreens to try to clear up and see if they have both been sent to the same place. The first woman said yes, both were sent to them. Someone else comes on, I have to tell her again what happened. She said, "No we only have the one sent over, we can cancel it on our end so the other pharmacy can pull it." This was incorrect, and I thought they were being truthful, but they were only telling me what I wanted to hear because there was a survey after. I gave a false good rating because I did not know they were lying. They canceled the entire thing so when I called the Fort Jesse Road location in Normal, IL, the man on the phone said that they do not have any prescriptions in the system for me. I was very confused and thanked them for checking. I called back Veterans and a man answers this time and tells me "I have no idea what happened but we don't have anything for you." I explained that I had just spoken with two women on the phone and they told me they were canceling the one order at their pharmacy, it was even on my app. He again says, "I have nothing for you." He claimed that they had nothing in the system that there wasn't anything ever sent by a doctor for me. I said, I don't understand, and he said "I don't either" and I just said I would have to call my doctors office again tomorrow to have them send it again. DO NOT USE WALGREENS. They are absolutely awful.
