We have been with Walgreens for years. This year we have had so many problems. They said insurance didn't cover things (rx we've had for years). When we called the insurance everything was in order. I don't know if it's poor training or laziness. We are done with Walgreens.

Soooo
Soooo, I was tired of the lines of the big pharmacy. Went to one of their smaller stores, which was better but then they closed that one and moved my prescription’s to the larger pharmacy-again. Ugh. My history with this pharmacy’s is that it has always been a headache. Long lines, not having my prescription ready or not having them at all. Finally, I became fed up. It took forever to get them on the phone, the app never worked correctly and the last straw was I was waiting on 3 prescriptions. I finally went by when the app said they were ready. Hmmm, just 2 so They said it was to 15/20 min. I shopped then went back he said they still were not ready. So I sat to wait. When I was told they were ready checked out went home 😤 only 2 in there and the antibiotics that were needed most, not in there. Had to go back, poor guy saw me and he could tell there was something wrong…. They fixed it, but still I don’t live that close. I am not saying that it is the people, it seems to be the chain. If you are going to put all the customers in one store make sure there are enough employees to handle things. I have now moved to Reidville Road Pharmacy and love them.

I get twenty five calls a day and text…
I get twenty five calls a day and text messages about my blood pressure medication. They sent a link for it to be picked up, or delivered, which mind you is an extra charge. I opted in for delivery, feeling that it can be dropped off since I don't live far from the pharmacy. I wait, ALLLLL day and still no delivery or NO phone call from this place. Frustrated, I decide to call and get an incompetent person on the phone who places me on hold for like, 30 mins. I hang up, call back, another incompetent person comes on the line, places me on hold again, for another thirty minutes, only to come back to the line to tell me, "Ma'am, you can have our consumers hotline to complain." At this point, I'm like, no more Walgreens. I was run into a wall without no solution. They tell me to come and pick my meds up tomorrow and show proof that I paid for my delivery and co-insurance..CRAZY...don't waist your time, money or energy on incompetence. GO TO CVS or RITE AID

Waited 10 minutes in the deserted store before being helped
Dylan R should not be working a job where he interacts with customers. Came in at 9pm tonight, took no time grabbing what I needed and headed to the front. I waited for about five minutes and I saw no one in the store, I started walking around looking for someone for about another 5 minutes. Finally I just started loudly saying “hello? Does anyone work here?” After saying that a few times, finally a man walked out from a door beside the photo counter. He looked irritated as soon as he walked out. He said “oh are you ready to check out?” While walking to the counter I responded by saying “oh yes, I’ve been waiting for about 10 minutes for someone. I looked around everyone for someone.” This is where I was really blown away by the customer service. This guy looked at me with an irritated look and said “im not dealing with your bull s**t today”. The entire interaction he was so hostile and after I was finally able to pay for my things, he threw the receipt and box at me and said “get out a**hole”. So your staff is going to cuss at me and say they don’t have time for their customers just because they informed him that they have been looking for someone to check them out for 10 minutes? I asked him what he was doing back there that he wasn’t watching the store and his response was “I was doing my job” which of course he said with the worst attitude. I’m sorry but your job is to assist customers. Without them you don’t have a business. I don’t appreciate the rude service and being cussed at just for trying to buy meds for my sick partner. The workers name was Dylan R and he claimed to be a manager. I work customer service and if I ever acted like a customer was inconveniencing me or cussed at a customer I would be out a job. This is awful since I normally get nice service here.

Walgreen's Location 1902 N Loop 1604 W
This is about the Walgreen's location at 1902 N Loop 1604 W in San Antonio, TX
I had an appointment to get a COVID booster and kept the 1pm appointment. There was a significant wait, meaning someone in front of me who took up my appointment time. This person was not there for a COVID vaccine, and by the time I got to the window at 1:21pm, the pharmacist refused service, rudely saying she was going to lunch.
I spoke with the manager there and he reiterated that it was their lunch time and "blamed the customer", saying that because they were running behind with appointments, customers needed to get there very early for shots.
Keep in mind, there were 3 people behind the counter milling around, and there was one register open. Not once did any one of those employees ask me to step over to another side of the counter (around the customer causing the delay).
Another thing, the pharmacist was very rude when her staff told her that I had been waiting and wanted to get my COVID vaccine. She shouted loud enough for everyone to hear, "You've got to be kidding!"
Perhaps a pharmacist is not the person who should be designated to help during a pandemic.
