My doctor called me in a prescription. A few hours later, I called Walgreens to see if it was ready yet. They said no that it wouldn’t be ready until 930 the following morning. I didn’t get to the pharmacy until 2 o’clock the next day. It took until 3 o’clock for me to get through the line up to pick up my prescription. When I got there, the tech told me that it would not be ready for another 15 minutes. I said well, it was supposed to be ready at 9:30 this morning but I guess I’ll have to wait. She told me that since there were cars behind me, I would have to pull around and wait again. So I waited for another hour. When I got up to the cashier again, she didn’t remember me and told me that it would be 10 to 15 minutes before it was ready. I said I am not going to wait in line for another hour. I will just wait here. So I waited while they finally got it ready. That is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. I am changing pharmacies.

Mr Jake Walfarm and Ms Reva at 5555 Essen Lane Walgreens in Baton Rouge are the most Awesome team! You can't ask for more dedicated or caring professionals. Walgreen's store # 1374 has an individual in the pharmacy who is limited in customer service skills. She gets offended if you ask a question that is not on her script ("this is what we are required to say..") and then continues to ignore the customer throughout the remainder of your business transaction. Finally, she does not provide the customer with the final disposition of the transaction..."Please wait or take a seat and the pharmacist will be with you". Yet when the customer asked another staff person what she (the customer) should do she covers herself by saying that she told the customer what to do. I am a mental health provider in the community and have used this pharmacy on several occasions. I was appalled by this female staff persons presentation and conduct.

I have been a customer at the local Walgreen’s in Belleview, Florida for over 16 years. Last night, I bought a pack of cigarettes and some Nyquil and a few other items. I provided my driver’s license as always to purchase the cigarettes and the cashier insisted that my minor child also provide her ID which of course she did not have. My child did not purchase anything and was not a customer. I have endured being asked for my ID to purchase cigarettes even though I am 67 years old. I have endured the embarrassment of hearing the cashier blurt out “Welcome to Walgreens” when customers enter the store. Publix got it right. Walgreens missed it by a mile. I have endured the endless requests to donate money in order to check out, but requiring my minor children to provide their ID when they are not even a customer qualifies as the last straw. This tells me not to bring my children with me when shopping at Walgreens. There are several other stores nearby that would welcome my business.

For the last several purchases, all gummy type products have been noticeably stale. Some to the point of being difficult to consume. Will halt buying those types of products immediately.

Over a 10yrs of subpar service then they want $330 for a lost prescription of generic plavix. Hyvee did it for $6

1. Lack of signage 2. Inaccessible coupons; needless complexity 3. Indifferent, don't care, staff who ignore customers, including at the registers (where I waited, wandered, and waited for someone for checkout) and in the aisles 4. Unwelcoming, unfriendly, couldn't-give-a-s--- about-your-business attitude 5. Insolence of cashier who simply raised her eyebrows in an "Oh, well" attitude instead of offering to help me figure out how to sign in again I left in disgust, found CVS around the corner, completed my intended errand there in 5 minutes, and, because the CVS experience was so pleasant, shopped around and bought more. Walgreens missed out on my original planned sale, the opportunity for additional unplanned sales during this visit, and the opportunity to gain my future visits and purchases; however, given the indifference which pervaded the store (highlighted by the frequent calls for service at different parts of the store), I am left to conclude that the company simply doesn't care. Once upon a time, I used Walgreens whenever I needed a drugstore. No more.

No lawmakers or pharmacy should have a right to threaten, bully or impose any religious belief on people. This is supposed to be the USA. Get your beliefs out of health care and off my body. Choose Freedom- No Walgreens for me!!!
