Wag!Reviews of wagwalking.com

I am having the hardest time trying to delete my account with Wag. Their website takes you in circles and prevents you from canceling with things like Ruh-roh something went wrong please try back again later or your identity can not be verified. Their phone number is just a recording that leads you back to their website. now I have emailed them and hope to get a response that way. I was never connected to a dog walker so the whole thing has been a waste of time.

Jaydynn was great. She took of my cat and will definitely use her again.

I found 2 excellent dog walkers on Wag! This is where the positive review ends. Once I found out they were trustworthy, i quickly hired them outside the app. Reason #1: my walker only received a small portion of what Wag! Was charging. It was ridiculous! Out of 27$ including tip, the walker was only getting 17$. Reason #2: After reviewing my walker to help her get more business, Wag! charged me 25$ for reviewing her. There was no warning abt the charge. There was no screen that said you are abt to be charged, nothing. I did not authorize this charge. Why would a company hurt themselves for charging for positive reviews? I had to argue with 3 chat bots to eventually get my money back and I received a warning from the company that this was a one time waiver. Reason #3: It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. I had an animal emergency and I could not get someone on the phone. Beware!

Wag is a fab company. Marcia is such a wonderful, patient and understanding care giver to our nervous, lovably quirky boy. Love her thorough updates of visit. So happy to have found her through Wag.

I wish I could give them a negative review. They automatically booked an appointment without my consent and then charged me to cancel the booking which I never made. I NEVER BOOKED THE RESERVATION; it was done automatically by Wag. I already explained this 3x. But here I go again…. 1. I downloaded the app. It’s my first time using Wag. I entered that I was looking for a pet sitter for certain dates. 2. I got back ONE match from Wag. She charged nearly $300 for 2 days. That’s way more than the rates on Rover , so I did NOTHING!!! I didn’t contact her, I didn’t book it. I closed the app and didn’t respond. Instead I focused on Rover which provided many more possible sitters. 3. Yesterday at 10:10 am CST, I got this text. “ Time is running out! You have 60 minutes to select a Pet Caregiver for your upcoming boarding before being auto-matched.” I did not see the text as I was away from my phone. 4. An hour later I got a message saying the dog sitter was BOOKED. WTH?!?!?! How the heck can a company book something automatically WITHOUT customer consent? I wasn’t even in the app when the appointment was booked. 5. I tried calling customer service which was a complete joke. It just refers you to online. Online is an even bigger joke. I entered “what to do when an appointment is automatically booked” and I got a response that Wag doesn’t do that. Liars!!!!!! That’s exactly what they did to me. 6. Luckily I saw that it was booked automatically by Wag and cancelled it only to learn that I will be charged $66.50 for a cancellation fee for something I NEVER BOOKED IN THE FIRST PLACE. The charges still haven’t been reversed after numerous emails to customer service…email because there isn’t a way to talk to a human via phone. This is the absolute worst app I have ever used. It’s unethical. They can’t get business through reputable means, so they resort to to cheating customers by automatically booking appointments without their knowledge. Horrible!!!!!

Brianna is really sweet. I appreciated her taking time out of her Thanksgiving Day to spend time with my dog!

Aimee is the best. My Riley loves her and I do too. She is always pleasant and takes that extra step. She is always my first request for his walks.

James is a really great walker. He loves dogs and Lewis is always happy to see him and go out for an adventure!
