**1 Star** My sister recently had a very concerning experience with a Wag! sitter in Meridian, Idaho. Video footage showed the sitter bringing an unauthorized minor onto her property and leaving her dog alone despite assuring her he would be there. During Wag!'s investigation, my sister provided videos and text messages that contradicted several of the sitter's claims. The sitter also admitted to going through her closet and dresser drawers. After reviewing the evidence, Wag! issued a full refund. As someone who watched this unfold, I would never use Wag! or Rover, especially since this sitter is active on both platforms. Pet owners deserve to know who they're allowing into their homes and caring for their pets.

Hi there, We hear your perspective on your sister’s experience, and we understand how that does not instill trust in Caregivers—or to a point, in the Wag! platform itself. This isn’t the kind of experience we want for anyone on the Wag! platform, which is where Pet Parents connect with Caregivers who are independent small pet-care business owners who’ve requested to join. We take concerns about Caregiver conduct seriously—from onboarding and vetting through the end of every service they’ve accepted. Any concerns reported about Caregiver conduct are reviewed by our Safety & Compliance Team, who works directly with the account holder to review the details privately. For privacy, we only discuss specific accounts or incidents with the account holder. We understand and respect your view, and we wish you and your sister all the best. If she has any additional questions about her report, please have her reach out via her existing email thread with the Safety & Compliance Team to reconnect.
