WAG does not take seriously animal abuse, neglect and fraud committed by WAG pet sitters. A WAG pet sitter - who was booked for overnight dog sitting in my home committed fraud an animal abuse and neglect. She left my dog abandoned inside my house for almost 4 days with only 2 hours of care per day. He was left abandoned in my home 22 hours a day for periods of up to 15-18 hours at a time with no access to the outdoors. My security system proves this - this is not speculation. Wag was a nightmare to deal with - they were unresponsive in dealing with this fraud and animal neglect and the damage to my house since my dog had no access to go to the bathroom outside. I was assured they would follow up. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get someone to take this seriously and make sure that pet sitter can never abuse and neglect someone's pet ever again.

SCAM! I was trying to becoming a dog walker. After signing up, they sent me an email to purchase Wag Swag of $31 that is a must pay to complete the registration process. I paid for it and completed every other sign up steps, but nothing ever came back other than a thank you for your payment email. After a month, I emailed them twice and never heard back or got my sign up fee back.

I am a wag walker and while I love it, their app needs some work. I have missed out on over ten walks because I open the app the accept the walk only to have them force me to download an update right then and there. I open the app daily and it's only right when I go to accept a walk that it needs to update? Really? It's been horrible! There's no chance of getting the walk unless you are staring at your phone when it pops up and then, even if you are, you then still lose out because it has to update every thirty minutes. A waste of time and money (they make you pay to start up) for what is currently offered. I hope they fix these few things because I love the idea and what they do for pet owners.

As a Wag Walker, they are constantly screwing up your payments. They switched over their payment system recently, which has screwed up paycheck disbursement for the past 2 weeks. Now, mind you I have wasted my time attempting to reach out to their customer service to make sure that I am getting paid in full when I am supposed to get paid. I SPOKE TO TWO DIFFERENT REPS telling me that I would be paid in full on the Friday if thus week. Then I get an email at 12am.... TELLING ME THAT MY CHECK IS BEING HELD FOR 4 MORE DAYS!!! The customer service is awful. God forbid there is an actual emergency while you are in a walk. It takes FOREVER to get through to anyone via phone call or text. If I didn't need the extra money, I'd be done with this company all together. Honestly, I should start trying to get clients on my own and stop dealing with Wag!

This company is awful. They lost my dog in 2018 and i never got so much as a sorry. Thankfully a friend and i found him later that say before the sun went down. i live in a very mountainous area mind you with many wild animals that could have killed him. A rep that works for wag heard of the news that my dog was found then called to let me know that they wouldn't be charging me for that walk. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! OH GOLLY THANKS!

I am a dog owner who absolutely loves their pet. I went with WAG and was referred to a dog walker named Sheila Woosley in Dallas, TX. I used her thru WAG for approximately 5 weeks until she convinced me it was better to use her service without WAG because she gets paid directly with no fee from them. I started to notice some behavior in my dog so I purchased a pet cam. At this point I realized it was not always her walking my dog. Often someone was there for only 6 minutes while I paid for 30. Then came the real surprise....I fired her and asked her to return my key. I paid her and she said she mailed my key. Still NEVER received it. Last night, someone ( her daughter or someone tried to break into my place, she being the only one with the key)....I had to call the police at which time she left. I have had my locks changed but would advise that NO-ONE ever use her and I will no longer be using WAG because I went off their reviews and when I reported this incident (even though it was outside WAG, they would not make note of it.) This person is not well and I hope you are very cautious with whom you trust you dog with.....and ALWAYS request a meet and greet.

I have been working for Wag on and off for the past two years. It has always been a struggle finding dog walks in any area, it is a over saturated market and the walks go quickly. The GPS technology they used is severely outdated. Often times you choose a walk that claims to be 2 miles away from your location only to find it’s actually 12miles away- and Wag does not compensate for gas. Also Wag has terrible customer service that is not American based, which leads to confusion and long wait times. Usually 20-30 minutes. Even with all that I still decided I could work for them to make the extra money I needed but now they haven’t paid me on time and that is the last straw. I tried calling to collect my paycheck and instead of hearing my concerns they basically brushed me off and said someone will call me but I still haven’t been called and they probably never will, that’s the last time I will work for this awful company that doesn’t care about its employees and brushes them off. Some people rely on extra paychecks just to live Day to day and to not be paid on time and then dismissed is a absolute joke. Do not work for them, save your time and effort because it will be for nothing. Also, I have used the Wag app for my own pup and I must say you get what you pay for. In the future I will choose a different company that cares about more than making money.

I have had a great experience with WAG. I think they have thought through some of the difficult logistics around trying to connect dog walkers with dogs in a way that is not too expensive. I have the lockbox on my door & set up 2 walkers this week.
