I have been a Wag user for over 6 years now, but I recently received some disturbing news from my condo management team. They said they’ve seen walkers pulling my dog down the sidewalk and one walker who didn’t even take the dog outside rather just looped through my lobby. I will no longer be using the service due to the inability to ensure the safety of my dog on walks. I wanted to be sure to spread the word as others should be aware of these mishaps. I also googled and a few awful results where abuse was captured on video and a dog was lost and died with little to no assistance from Wag during the process. Wag team you need to find a way to better provide transparency on the walkers and their time with the dogs they walk. This is just not acceptable and to now see that this has been happening for years and no changes or improvements have been made is unacceptable. By the way I should share I was a Wag walker for a brief time and the training and security checks could def use improvements.

I been using Wag since April I have no problem with the dog walkers. I am very happy with the service.I love the app. And every time need a dog walkers at last min they come take my Jack Russell out for a walk since I live in a apartment work like 10 hour a day it helps. Love the dog tracker and the videos they lift for me.. my dog name is Dylan . And I live in the woodlands…

I would 100% never use this service after my experience today. I was playing with my dog in my apartment's dog park (where I pay the amenity fee) when I was scolded by a dog walker from Wag because she wanted to bring the dog she had into the park and doesn't bring them in when there are other dogs there. It's fine if no one is in the park but someone is paying you to be a dog walker, WALK THE DOG. She was totally disgusted when I told her it would probably be 20 minutes.

Reservation was made but cancelled days ahead of appointment. No one confirmed appt or cancellation. Walker arrived without calling first, did not know of cancellation, and left. Wag! charged VISA account. Not fair, would not use them again, and not recommend to anyone.

I hope Wag dies. They seem great but once you have a problem they won’t do anything for you. Good luck talking to somebody, they make it nearly impossible, pretty sure they do that on purpose. And when you do talk to someone, they won’t be able to do anything to help you out.

Caution when using this app and looking for a trusted pet sitter. A pet sitter watching 3 Mini Dachshunds were found dead after being left inside a car for who knows how long. This Pet sitter was found by searching through the Wag app. Please Pet Parents BEWARE! I hope this company or the person responsible is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

A walker didn't show up this morning. She Canceled last minute. I have had this happen before with a walker who would repeatedly do this. So I messaged the Walker to please not accept anymore walk requests from me. I got a very rude response. Actually several. Because the walker never completed a walk, the app does not allow me to give this person a rating, or report her, or at least share that message conversation with the powers that be. I do not think this is the kind of walker Wags wants representing them. So, pet owners be wary.

Absolute scumbags who flag accounts on account of a CLIENT propositioning me to get off the app. AGAIN A APP USER AND NOT THE WALKER. No notice and they did not release my funds MONEY ALREADY EARNED.
