Original Review: "I went with a full subscription $1,395 which is not cheap and provided premium accounts for whichever apps they suggested. less than 5 matches and no dates. The quality of the writers and the photo selection process was awful. Any other service would provide better results (Believe me!)" After posting the above review and only after that, they reached out to me to try to rectify the situation. I specifically mentioned that this is not great for me mentally but they persisted that I will have a way better experience. I did everything they suggested in the past three month and what do I have to show for it? a whopping 0 dates. I originally thought that at least this is a company trying to do something but they are bad at it, now I feel like this is a scam operation more than anything else.

Nick, as your matchmaker, I understand you’re upset that none of your matches turned into dates for you. I’m disappointed too! But I was so surprised and sad to see you called us a “scam operation” in your updated review, especially after we worked so hard to make things right for you. After you declined our offer to give you a full refund, we genuinely wanted to turn your experience around. I put together a team with some of our most seasoned team members, including one of our veteran writers! We made your profiles and photo lineup as strong as they could possibly be while still representing you in an authentic way, and provided complimentary service for several months. Which, as you can imagine, was not an inexpensive undertaking on our part. Do you truly believe that’s how a “scam operation” would have approached this unfortunate situation? I know you feel it’s your duty to share your experience with others, and I respect that. That’s precisely what online reviews are for. VIDA has helped so many people make meaningful connections - 99% of our clients get dates, and 78% of them leave our service because they want to focus on getting to know one (or several) of their matches better. I’m sorry we were not able to do that for you, too. We tried everything we could think of to make it work, including multiple bios and 7 different photo lineups. But there is no matchmaking service out there with a 100% success rate, because it’s simply not possible. No matchmaker can guarantee chemistry or change someone’s mind if the interest is not mutual. And in our case, we allow our clients to reject as many of their matches as they want based on their photos—while nearly everyone else in the industry exclusively sets up blind dates. If blind dates were our protocol too, we would have easily gotten you out on dates with compatible matches. I know you felt you weren’t being overly selective, but you set the bar quite high in a city that’s notoriously difficult for single men to date in, and then you rejected a LOT of compatible matches based on their photos. Which is totally fine, but what really surprised and confused me was that you indicated to our founder that you rejected them because they were “twice your size.” I looked back at the photos of each and every one of them, and that couldn't be further from the truth. You wrote that the process was “not great for you mentally,” and I understand how hard dating apps can be on self-esteem for some individuals. In that you’re very much not alone! Many of our clients say this is one of the reasons they sign up for our service, so that we can shoulder that burden for them. One recent client told me he was so relieved to have my help because doing it on his own “is like death by a thousand cuts!” I love what I do here at VIDA and I’m really, really sorry I was unable to make better results happen for you. Your experience wasn’t the typical one, but I hope if nothing else you can see that I was personally committed to doing everything I could. My experience with Vida Select was absolutely top shelf! They have a well-honed system to interview you find out what you're looking for and to help you put your best foot forward on the right platforms with the right people. My MatchMaker, Tara, did a wonderful job quarterbacking the team that supported me, from the very helpful video stylist consultant prior to my photo shoot, to selecting and instructing my photographer, to working with the team after my profiles were launched. 6 weeks later, I have an amazing new gf, who I imagine spending my life with... and we are utterly wrecked for each other. And the 3 "second place" ladies I would call if things didn't work out are all top shelf people. 3 of the 4 hold Phds, all are pretty, and real, and looking for deep long term relationship. You have to follow the system and watch a couple of tips videos, and throw yourself into the experience and process, but it is worth it 1,000 times over. There service is expensive by most people's standards, but the pricing is straight forward, there are no "gotcha's" or hidden fees or catches, they produce/provide exactly what they promise (and more!), and you can pause and resume at any time with not penalty or loss. But really, if you find the woman of your dreams with whom you spend your life, and if it might not have happened without them (or at least not for a lot longer time), how can any price possibly be over paying if you have the funds. This is an expensive service, but it's one that I wish I had done years ago. After a frustrating long wait to get my photos and app descriptions finalized I got a lineup that LITERALLY gets about 10X the amount of attention then what I had before. If they were quicker, I would have given them 5 stars, but I guess it should have been expected how long they took since I started around the holiday season. BUY THEIR SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO STOP WASTING TIME ON ONLINE DATING!!! Just do it for a month to get a photo lineup and bio descriptions, then you can cancel it if you don't care for them to send messages on your behalf.

I worked with Julianna and had an amazing experience. We worked to get my profiles set up and I found her help and the help of other staff to be great. I was just about to take professional photos and go live when I met someone. Julianna wished me well and will keep my information on file for 3 years. There was a prompt response to every email I sent and question I had. There was also full cooperation and understanding of my need to pause my account!!

I had a great experience with VIDA. The package included working with a stylist and a photo team which was a lot of fun and made me feel special. Tara, my matchmaker, was awesome!
