I think it was a bit too pricey for the value I got. But I did enjoy not wasting my time on matches and conversations I didn't enjoy and going straight to dates. But I also think the conversion rate wasn't great; I wanted to go on more dates than I actually did. I think a few tweaks could have made my profile more competitive.

Shyne was very easy to work with and her and the team provided multiple quality matches.

Nordika has been an incredible, attentive, kind match-maker. The process with the dating app (hinge) has been a learning process since the whole process is a bit awkward (a third party swiping and chatting with parties in my behalf). I had many questions in the beginning of the app dating process, which Nordika patiently responded to. As a result, I'm letting go some control (which isn't always easy for me!) and trusting the process more. There haven't been many hinge candidates that I am excited about, but the two Vida clients I have been sent seem like great matches that check many of the attributes of a partner that I'm looking for

I’ve had an overall positive experience with this matchmaking service. While there have been a few mistakes along the way, the support I’ve received has made a real difference. My matchmaker, Johanna Wise, has been outstanding—professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. She consistently provides thoughtful, helpful advice and is always quick to respond to calls, emails, and texts. Her guidance has been invaluable, and she’s made the experience worthwhile.

Used a different matchmaking service last year, total waste. Random intros, felt like they pulled names from a hat. Signed up here not expecting much to be hoenst. My matchmaker Melina pushed back on some of my filters and explained why which caught me off guard. Turns out she was right. The matches were much stronger than my previous service. Only knock is communication between check-ins. There were stretches of 10+ days where I didnt hear anything so I'd end up reaching out myself. Met 5 women in the first couple of months, seeing one now who I wouldnt have picked based on a profile but we clicked in person. Giving it 4 stars because the slow responses frustrated me but the actual matching was solid.

I took a chance on Vida. Their approach advertises access to date at a more affordable model than most other matchmaking services I've looked at. It's not-conventional, they drive your already existing dating apps for you, which I didn't fully understand until the intake call. It took ~1.5 months to get everything set up. They do use AI to help generate photos based on photo sets you give them. Which I didn't understand until the photo set was presented to me for approval. The team was very willing to make adjustments (i.e. use just actual photos of me) at my request though. Now that we are rolling there has been surprisingly good results. I approve all matches to pursue. The team is able to chat with matches, coordinate/setup dates, and get phone numbers with pretty much no effort from me. Once I have a phone number I take it from there. Overall I'm happy with the direction this is going - but I hope the team continues to refine and evolve the approach. It's important to be more clear about how the system works and the approach, ideally before the intake call.. and disclose the use of AI in the photo department prior to giving me the first look at photos for approval. Looking forward to seeing how this fully plays out.. but excited to work with the team.

I joined VIDA less than 2 months ago. I’ve only had two introductions … but I remain optimistic as it’s been such a brief period of time. Johanna is very nice and communicative.

My experience with Vida Select has been mostly positive, but I wouldn’t really recommend it for anyone under 30 — especially early 20s like me (I’m 24). The team itself has been great. My matchmaker, Francesca, actually found several profiles that fit what I’m looking for, and the writers handled messaging super well. No shade to them at all — they did their part. The issue is just dating app culture for people my age. My profiles went live about three weeks ago, and I’ve gotten a ton of matches — like genuinely top-tier Hinge performance for Chicago. But converting those matches into real dates has been rough. I’ve only had one date, she showed up 20 minutes late, and it wasn’t a great match. Another date canceled the night before, so I had to scrap the dinner reservation. So if you’re in your early–mid 20s, have high standards, and want something serious, Vida might not feel worth it just because dating in this age bracket is chaotic no matter how good your profile looks. I think their service shines more for older age groups where follow-through is more consistent. Overall: solid company, great staff — just not the best fit for younger people dealing with all the flakiness that comes with app-based dating right now.
