Utter garbage. Worst app I have ever attempted to use in my life. Designed to be completely nonintuitive. Spent two hours deleting and re-adding "passes" ; app kept pulling up incorrect flight numbers, and would not allow me to enter correct flight number. This was one of 5 other problems. Not wasting another second of my time. Way to cash in on a pandemic...

An utter waste of time and space
I have to question why so many airports and airlines rely on this utter piece of a 3rd rate app. Nothing works! No exaggeration, nothing works!
Having just experienced a horrific check in at Heathrow T5 with the BA staff not really showing any degree of competence and clearly having a bad shift (all because of Verifly) I really do not understand why they should get very ‘hot under the collar) with simple straightforward questions.
Verifly is an utter waste of time and space. Simply incredibly incompetent.

WHAT IS THIS?????????
Honestly, what the frick is the point of this useless app??? No instructions on how to use. Who had this brilliant idea of attempting to use a non-working app during high stress travel times??? GARBAGE.

Extremely poorly executed App
As a previous entrant said, too bad I cannot give the app zero stars! I have used Verifly twice successfully and 6 times unsuccessfully. I have tried to give their support function all the assistance I can in troubleshooting the issues but this app is very very poor. What scares me is that the airlines are supporting this without understanding how poor it is. If you find it appalling, please let your ground staff know at the check-in desks! I also take all my printed out vaccine certs and documentation with me just in case. Great idea to help streamline the check-in process. Extremely poorly executed, resulting in more confusion and anxiety!

Doesn't cater for those who had Covid and recovered
Before I could checkin on line American Airlines insisted I download the Verifly app and input my data. I thought it would be simple - how wrong I was! Firstly, although it accepted my photo straight away, no matter how many attempts on taking one for my wife would work. Every one failed. Secondly, it is only designed for travellers who have been double jabbed and taken a negative PCR test. For my wife and I, we have been double jabbed and also caught Covid and recovered. We have proof, but the app doesn't cater for that situation so is useless for us. Will do it all at the checkin desk but wasted a lot of time for nothing!

Frighteningly, Inexcusably Bad
My girlfriend who suffers with anxiety-related issues will finally be making a long-awaited trip from the UK to the US, after a lengthy delay due to COVID.
She's been extremely diligent about being certain she's satisfied every travel requirement and has all of her documents and certifications in order.
Thanks to careful preparation, her anxiety has been kept pretty well in check. At least until she tried to use this insane horror of an app that British Airways is aggressively trying to push on everyone.
It might not even be so bad if the problems with your app stopped at, oh, little things like ...
-- At initial setup, after inputting your email, no notification is received, and there's no way of knowing if you inadvertantly typed your own email wrong (no confirming double-entry is required, despite that being pretty standard when you only get one shot at inputting an important piece of data), or if something else glitched in the app (which after a small amount of research, you can plainly count on being the issue with Verifly 99.99999999% of the time). The fix? With no standard options for virtually every professional app on the planet, such as ("Didn't receive an email? Verify your contact info and try sending it again", and no way to edit an email address (even before you've gotten past the confirmation part) -- just delete and reinstall the app. Easy Peasy.
-- Next steps: evidently the app forces you to open your mail on the phone, and not on an easier-to-read device such as a tablet or computer. What this imagines it is accomplishing, I've no idea, but then it drops you off there with no prompt, on and no clue what your next step is supposed to be. The only links at the bottom of that message are "helpful" links to download the app -- which you've already done, likely more than once in fact, if you've managed to get this far.
-- Next up: The idiotic list of all "My trips" -- again with no instructions. Any professionally-designed app at this point would have NO SUCH USELESS CLUTTER, and instead, a clear option to ADD A NEW TRIP, followed by a selection of destinations.
You may note I've been harping on what constitutes readily-recognized, professional user-interface design. The biggest reason for that isn't just ease-of-use. It's TRUST. This app doesn't look, feel or behave in any respect like an app you can TRUST. Yet the as the required legal disclaimer early on makes very plain, the makers of this app expect you to TRUST THEM IMPLICITLY with the security of some pretty sensitive personal ID, health and other information.
Even if the makers of Verifly had the very best of intentions (I can't claim to know) if their UI is so far from professional, how professional is their security implementation?
At this point, I could feel the tension and hear the near-panic rising in my girlfriend's voice, akin to the frustration and worriment a great many other reviewers note the app has caused them. The solution to that, thankfully, really was easy. If you dig, even a little bit, you'll find that (a) even Verifly says that whether you manage to successfully create some kind of certified "pass" with their product or not, you still need to bring all of your documentation with you (because hey, I bet consumers aren't the only ones who realize the app has huge problems and perhaps isn't the most trustworthy indicator of anything, either); and (b) it certainly is NOT a requirement to use Verifly at all. So one more quick, easy delete of the app later, my girlfriend is calm once more, and 100% ready to fly, with all of her required documentation lined up and ready to go.
So ... with apologies to the rare reviewers here who claim to be actual users, and not Verifly plants, who say they have managed to have a functional experience and don't understand what all the negative fuss is about ... even if my girlfriend and I could have stuck with it long enough to become ONE OF THE RARE 5% or SO who might actually get the thing to work, our trust level for Verifly is sitting squarely at ZERO. I don't see how ANYBODY'S could realistically be much higher.
To any airline trying to get its consumers to use this app, I would STRONGLY suggest you think about the DISTRUST this utterly unprofessional-looking, glitchy app is creating first and foremost, even above the technical issues so many people keep reporting. And then CHANGE SOMETHING. This app as presently designed is NOT going to be your answer to shortening queues and smoothing navigation of the complexities of air travel. That is, not unless frustrating, irritating, and risking causing some of your passengers full-blown panic attacks is your actual intention, until the number of consumers who remain willing to fly with you is sufficiently reduced in number to achieve that same happy, smooth-sailing result.

Booking the light to Portugal Nightmare
Booking the light to Portugal, only gives one option which is Ireland rather than Heathrow I booked. Also the wrong carrier, 0 out of ten from me.
