Tried to check in with Aerlingus, but you need to register your documents with this app. The app accessed data from another email account on my phone, not the one I gave the email address for. First verification email didn't work. When I could get into the app, there is no way to add your trip. It doesn't recognise your booking number and no clear way to link to your flight. I was unable to upload any of my documents. Just spend 1.5 hours trying to get this to work. Much more efficient to just go to the check in desk at the airport than use this app.

Appallingly bad. British Airways all but required us to use this app, but after 3 hours of trying to get the family's various documents, QR codes, COVID vaccination information etc uploaded, I was unable to complete it. Almost every step is poorly executed and inflexible. Two examples: Firstly, the registration process asks for your "first" and "last" names, which I put in; but because my boarding pass contains my middle name also, the app failed to recognise me. I had to delete the account and re-register with my "first" name containing both first and middle names. Secondly, my wife's full name appears on her passport, but her COVID vaccination digital certificate only contains her initial and her surname. The app won't therefore recognise this as a valid document for upload. It was relentlessly difficult to use and in the end we have abandoned it and will just be going to the airport with paper copies of everything and HOPING we can check in successfully. BA, you need to ditch this. You're only using it because *if* it works, it makes your life easier. But it's making your customers miserable – look at all these one-star reviews!

Does not recognise my QR codes from covid test results. Cannot book in on line 4 hours after completing manual verification in the app. BA keep sending emails to down load the app. Wasted my time doing it, will take paper copy to Airport. Will fly with other airlines that I can book in on line with next time.

Absolutely terrible App, couldn't even get the 1st page selfie photo to work. BA's insistance on using this App for check-in shows how low their standards have fallen....zero out of 10 for customer service.

The main flaw with this app is that the vast majority of Covid tests need to be manually checked by the VeriFly team - something they provide no SLA's for. So you upload documents in the hope they get verified quickly so that you can check in online with British Airways only to be waiting around for hours with no indication on when the approval may come through. I was fortunate enough to pay for seating but if you're no willing to do so (and it is expensive on BA) then you may not be able to check in online at all which could put you at risk of being split up on the plane (if you're travelling as a family for example). Overall very unimpressed with this approach.

Waste of time and increases stress! Unfortunately this system will now affect also how I see BA. I have always liked BA, but now also my rating of them has dropped from 4* to 2* because of the frustration with their VeriFly. I start wondering if BA has lost its skills how to check their "partners".

Unnecessary added stress. Don’t bother with this app it is of zero benefit and will annoy you. Just get your information from elsewhere and and documentation printed off. Poor user interface, zero help for rejected forms through the app, no contact number. Also airports and flights do not appear so I can’t even use it for my return journey and check in online - Dublin to Heathrow with British Airways - hardly an obscure combination. Verifly’s response to this? It’s my responsibility to check that airports are listed and I should check in at the airport!!! Shame on BA for selecting this app.

Is the app pulling up accurate info? I entered all my booking details and the flight it pulls up on the app associated with the flight number is completely incorrect (time wise) - I even double checked the BA website and there is no flight at that time. Definitely a few bugs or two that they need to work on here. Regarding uploading the docs, that was easy but is someone manually checking every pre-departure covid test uploaded on Verifly? Is that even efficient, I am sure some form of AI exists which can expediate the process without having to do such a manual check / keeping people in limbo waiting. An exact SLA on how long checks take would be extremely helpful / alleviate customer frustrations - this is not even communicated anywhere. Perhaps even a hotline for customers to reach out to chase status of verification of docs would be extremely helpful? I support the logic, importance and the requirement of verifying details / documents but... IF you are going to roll-out an app, make sure it is one that is streamlined or works efficiently / correctly. If it is not done correctly, you are only creating more work for the people (check-in staff who are already overworked) and generating a negative experience for customers (resulting in negative reviews online for both the app and associated airline).
