They aren't very straight up with their fees. The charge a monthly rate guarantee that is supposed to make it so that your rate doesn't change, and they also charge you for cancelling. Cancelling is a nightmare as well. Every other subscription I have used has a simple button and a confirmation box, maybe an optional survey. Somehow being logged in isn't enough for vasa to figure out which membership to cancel, so you have to fill out a form.

My 19 year old grandson went in to see the gym and the individual that got him to sign membership must have seen an easy sale!! He thought he was paying 40.00 mthly with first month free, a week later his bank acct was hit for 140.00! When he called vasa they said it was for a personal trainer he had signed up for!! The sales person failed to tell him he was agreeing to pay personal trainer 140.00 every two weeks. He said the individual had him sign contract on a tablet he had full control over. I would think a large company such as this would be more transparent! I feel he it all was very deceptive and now going thru hell to get it all cancelled! Website says you have 30 days to cancel but fine print at bottom of contract says 3 days in small print. They should be ashamed taking advantage of someone so new to all of this. I used to work in sales and im here to tell you the best form of advertisement is word of mouth and this company has nothing but negative reviews other than 1 person above!!!!!!!!! She is outnumbered!! The vasa this involves is Clinton, UT and Paramount Acceptance is billing company. Next step is to contact Gephardt with KSL News.

Absolute Criminals we tried to cancel several times, but they wouldn't let us without charging us a $25.00 even though we had been members for 6+ months which our contract said was the timeline for the cancelation fee to no longer apply. We kept getting charged each month. The people we finally got to talk to were dishonest. Please learn from our mistakes, DON'T SIGN UP WITH THESE CRIMINALS! Cost me $200 I'll never get back.

This gym is a scam, they get you in then raise the prices. Then when you cancel they say they will send you a form and don't then send you to a collection agency. Don't ever do business with these creeps!

Vasa’s billing isn’t forthright. The gym was nice but I joined solely because of the childcare hours were optimal. I had the first month 1/13-2/13 free. I began paying starting 2/13. In March, I was charged even though they closed. I was also charged a $76 monthly rate guarantee. I called and then emailed, because I kept getting charged for subsequent months. A freeze was put on the account. They begin charging even when I explained I wasn’t able to attend. Finally, on 3/2/21, when I called and was informed they weren’t going to have childcare anytime soon, I decided to cancel. They charged me $160 to cancel because I had to pay for the following month and the annual monthly rate guarantee, since it was a year later!!! Total for attending 2 months (1st month was supposed to be free) I was charged $460. Wish I had never joined. They are definitely not reputable.

Bogus billing and strong arm collections from Vasa Fitness. I have not been to this gym in well over a year and a half and quit going during the pandemic. I had to move from the area. My bill was $20.00 per month and I noticed that Vasa Fitness had put a $375.00 debt collection on my credit bureau. They employed a debt collection attorney to pursue an outrageous debt which I feel is way out of line especially since I have not been there in a long time and there is a pandemic in effect. You would think that a large corporation would have compassion during a pandemic but not Vasa. I had to pay this bill to get it off my credit bureau. So make no mistake about it. Vasa will go after your credit bureau to collect any debt they seem fit. They use a debt collection attorney who will threaten legal action if they are not paid. Do yourself a favor and NEVER sign a contract with this bogus company who is all about the money. I am currently searching for any Class Action lawsuits I can join to go after this company. There are plenty of other gyms in Denver that do not operate this way. I hope this helps your decision on what gym you choose.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. I had a Fitness 19 membership and canceled it in November 2020. When they shut down, they gave their contract to VASA. I use to work for VASA and no longer want to go workout somewhere where I have worked. I called in December to see why I was being charged by VASA and they said that I never canceled my fitness 19 membership and I owe them now. I told her I do not want the membership so please cancel it. Here I am February 25th, 2021 telling you they are still trying to charge me. This is the second customer service representative that I have spoken to that is heartless and rude about me loosing my job due to COVID-19. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I wish it was possible to give negative amount of stars. Vasa fitness would receive -5 stars. Avoid this establishment like the plague Or plan on having a membership with them for your entire life. It is nearly impossible to cancel your membership. I tried for six months, then try to get a refund for all the months I was charged but was told (by Jason D. via email) that I could not get a refund even though I have an email thread with multiple requests trying to cancel. Get a gym membership ANYWHERE else or you will bleed money.
