Poor service I went to the gym for three months and I wanted to cancel because I did not have time for it. So I sent a message to VASA asking for help and a person (Connor) "helped" me, he said I did not have to pay for the fees and my membership was going to be cancelled. I was super happy with the service until now. I received an email saying that I need to pay for 46,10 in St George VASA and I never went to this place. So I sent to them the email that I received from Connor and they said that wasn't a confirmation and a confirmation was an email from VASA so I gave them a explanation about it and they said I needed to pay it anyways.

I wondered how a company could average only 2.5 stars on Google. My son had an account with vasa fitness. He called several months ago to cancel his account. Apparently you have to show up in person or give it to them in writing? He shut down the bank account that Vaso was drawing from. My husband got an email notice from them that there were charges on his visa account that needed to be taken care of. So my husband called into cancel. They told him it was taken care of. But vasa continue to add charges to his vasa account and we had no idea. Finally we got a snail mail notice from them that he owed $79. My husband and I were cosigners on the account so we went IN to talk to them. They would not take back the charges and we had to pay for another month to cancel his account. So $90 later even though they could see he had not been showing up for several months. And even though he called into cancel. We had to pay the charge. Are they really hurting that badly for members that they have to charge people when they aren’t coming to the gym and after they’ve called into cancel. Can they not just shut down somebody’s account the first time they don’t pay. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Crappy customer service if you ask me. I think if it’s a good enough gym they shouldn’t have to rip people off. Very disgusted with that treatment. It’s a bad business practice and bad customer service if you ask me.

Hi, we enjoy coming to your gym and like almost every single staff member. We love your guys equipment and sauna and steam room and enjoy all the qualities. My wife pays 42$ a month for membership plus myself, her husband, and we are ok with that. There is one person at the front desk that gets really upset and mad at us for not bringing in my Identification every time I come in with my wife yet we’ve been members for 4 months and work out 5 days a week. We’ve been really nice with him and he still gets his feelings hurt and yells at my wife and myself for not bringing my ID yet he knows who I am every time. We are starting to think it’s a personal vendetta against me and he just wants to try to make my life hard. No other staff member asks me for ID because they both know myself and my wife when we clock in. I understand VASA is trying to get more members to sign up but bullying people that come almost everyday to gym with a smile on our faces is not good customer service at all. He told my wife that we should leave and join another gym which was very rude. So I’m sending this today with not the act of being mad but simply just a little disappointed in this person. He’s about 6’1, blonde hair that’s balding and looks pissed off and tries to make our clock in as unenjoyable as possible. If he has some personal life issues and needs help in anyway, we are here with open arms and wish he would seek it because he should never speak to my wife, myself or any customer like that ever again. Thank you for your time and we will be in contact until the owners get this. We are 90% sure we will be leaving your gym, while you sadly lose our business due to this rude individual. When I get his information I will be sending it to you ASAP. Thanks and maybe this isn’t the job for him. A simple apology would do and just leaving me be and not forcing myself to join VASA gym when my wife’s membership is 42$ a month. We both were members of anytime fitness for 6 years, Gold’s gym for 8 years before that and never had to deal with this type of rude behavior or relentless agitation over an ID and trying to sign me up. I was a member and in 2019 I got pregnant, I kept visiting the gym my first trimester then I stopped going. Still paid my membership thinking I will go back. Then postpartum happened and Covid, then I lost my job and struggling to makes ends meet. The credit card company that the payment was linked to closed the card because I couldn’t keep up with my payments and of course the gym membership was not getting paid. While trying to take care of a newborn and everything else I completely forgot about canceling the membership. I just received a letter in the mail from a collection agency stating I owe VASA $324. No communication, no attempts to reach me and trying to get someone to talk to it’s been a nightmare. Everyone gave me a break, even the bank that owes my car was understanding, but VASA. I haven’t used the gym in almost 2 years and now I owe them over $300. There’s no way I can pay this much, and now this is going to ruin my credit and I’m here crying trying to grasp what’s happening. Thank you VASA , i really hope my $324 was worth it . I signed up for a membership to a new club. I was told I would not be charged until the new club opened. They charged me 2 months before they opened than tacked a 60 dollar charge to my bank account. For what? No response, zero response after I wrote them asking to explain their charges. This "club" is a ripoff and I would stay far away from them! I'm contacting thevstate attorney general!

I simply wanted to pause my membership while traveling for a few months in an RV. The corporate office, AFTER JUST CHARGING ME THE MONTHLY FEE AND ANNUAL FEE, wants ANOTHER $10 per month to HOLD my account open and ANOTHER $50 TO CANCEL. I would think a new business would work better with new clients, but not this one. I wonder how my local gym feels that THEIR OWN corporate office's greed and rudeness has guaranteed they will never, ever, see another penny from me, and with whom my opinion accounts from none of my friends will use them as well.

My son wasn't using his membership with Vasa and one night when I went in I decided I would cancel it. The guy behind the counter told me he did it so I didn't think anything about it. The next month I got billed another $25 for his membership. I called customer service and they told me they "don't understand why the person in the gym would tell me it was canceled and not do it. They Let me Cancel it, but then made me pay for the next month ($25) and a fee for rate protection ($56). They took the cancellation fee off, but I was already in it an extra $105 before it was all said and done. When my membership is done there I will go anywhere else. Just not Vasa.

The worst customer service. They literally charged me the rate fee ($86) two months in a row. When I asked to get it refunded, they said they didn't know when it would be refunded but they would work on it. Even though it was a mistake on their end? Terrible terrible terrible company, any gym is better than this one.
