I wish I could do zero stars. I froze my account because I couldn’t afford to cancel or because yes there’s a fee to cancel of 25 dollars and a fee of 10 dollars just to freeze it. So I froze it, thinking it would stay froze until i unfroze it.. but no after 90 days it’s starts charging again. SO they charged me 80 dollars and then my bank charged me another 25 for being in the negative. So I called them hoping they could refund me and cancel it.. but no the MOST they could do is freeze it again for free. Keep in mind I froze it because I haven’t been going to the gym since i got the pass and froze it. Sooo they have charged me about over 200 or more dollars just for nothing. Crappy ass way to run a company. Can’t even help your customers. Just rape them of their money.

Terrible customer service especially from their billing company Paramount. I changed my membership to include multiple clubs only to realize I was being charged 17.00 more than the 22.99 to upgrade from my old plan of 13.00. They added guest privileges without my knowledge. I had not realized the error until 5 months later. When I spoke to the general manager at the Westminster location explaining that it was one of her front desk associates that helped do the upgrade for me on my phone she offered me one free month. Being a former manager at Golds Gym, this offer was not only a slap in the face, it was absolutely disrespectful considering her own staff was the one that upgraded my membership for me to a multi-club, not realizing they added on guest privileges as well. I actually never received any call back from her at all when she had said she would, so a week later I canceled my membership and brought some of my coworkers with me. We are all now working out at Chuze Fitness because they know how to treat their members. I will refer more coworkers to Chuze because we work for a large company and we're all about customer service. Maybe you all should figure out how to retain members and apologize rather than tell them sorry, you should have realized the amount that was being charged. Too bad that we will never return

I talked with the employee about changing my account preferences to the standard plan ($20) less than I already pay. She informed me that my plan was updated, but here we are two months later and turns out nothing has changed. Not only that, every location I go to is a mess. Weights all over the floor and wipes everywhere. I would not recommend this gym to anyone, just go anywhere else.

I have been trying to cancel an account for months! When asked for my name, the person helping me couldn't even find an account with my name attached? Tried to cancel then (May) and it's now August and I have called, emailed and NOTHING has been resolved. Shady shady shady

Absolute SHADY business practices, hidden fees that they don't tell you about, even if you point blank ask them. You have to read the contract line by line, I get that is my responsibility but if you ask about the fees they don't tell you, that is basically fraud. The machines are junk and rarely maintained, staff are incompetent and make suggestions that can harm your body or health. Customer service is atrocious, they don't want to keep their customers, they make more money when their customers cancel. They keep their customers by threatening cancelation fees. The cleanliness of the facility is horrifying. At the Taylorsville location the locker room is gross and the toilets are disgusting. On the few occasions I did go 3 of the 4 toilets were out of order. Do yourself a favor and do your research, I wish I did. I was a member of Golds Gym and then Vasa many years ago and I remember it being great, it is so sad they have gone down hill this far.

I would have to agree with some of the others, some of the member service(s) staff are horrible! Young kids, most likely making a good wage, and 0 effort to assist anyone, and have an attitude to boot! I have provided my personal account information to these children twice now, in a two-month period, and am receiving additional charges because they continue to set my account up incorrectly. I really enjoy the amenities but after 8-9 visits and a constant headache dealing with their so-called customer care, I am about done.

Wow. How is this even legal to run a business ripping people off. I canceled my membership in January after paying a fee and they continue to charge my card each month. I let my bank know and they back charged them for about 150$ of the money they took. And they are still charging me. Now I got a collection letter in the mail saying I owe 318$. First of all how would I owe that much and second they won’t let you talk to them about it. Anyone else taken legal action against them? Any advice

I wish I could give them a worst score then this!!!! these people are SHARKS!!!! I closed my Vasa Account on Oct 16 2020 and since then I have been charged $465.26 I just recently discovered that they have still been taking my money even though i have Proof that I have not been to the gym in more then half of a year. There have been two different days that Vasa charged my card more then one time IN A DAY!! one day they took almost $103 in a single day. i have called over and over again and I always get talked too like a child and treated bad and they just blow me off its INSANE once they get your card # they will just do whatever they want charging crazy amount of money and refuse to correct any issues or answer the phone... its complete bull this is a long review but trust me vasa is NOT worth all this bull $465.26 for six months of service that i cancelled and never used. I bought my own home gym and i am an electrician so I have no interest or benefit from talking bad on vasa.
