Ulta BeautyReviews of ulta.com

Probably the most unprofessional business I’ve ever encountered. The district managers, the recruiters they are horrible. I won’t go into the horrible things they’ve done. I will never step foot in another one.

Customer service at Ulta is a joke. I have emails to prove their lack or care and their lack of ability to help a customer. I purchase big amounts each time, its money well earned and I used to love Ulta but no more online orders. They are terrible, don't care about customers, they only want your money. 30 days to find a mail in return MY GOSH!!! People save your money and go anywhere else for online shopping. Ulta desperately needs to have a customer 101 with their online customer service team.

This was my first time ordering online from Ulta Beauty and only after I did, did I come here to learn how bad it was. If I would have known beforehand, I would have gone to my nearest Ulta in person to buy my stuff. While I received my package in a timely manner with everything I ordered inside, one item I ordered (a bottle of oil) was broken and had spilled everywhere inside the bag it came in. There were other items inside the bag with it and the oil got all over it and even inside the box. I could also see a puncture mark inside the box from when the bottle of oil dug into it and snapped off so I know it happened because it wasn’t packaged properly. Also, the way they packaged the products for safety during shipping was poor. There was only one sheet of bubble wrap, five air filled packing pillows, and thin plastic bags that they crowded a lot of my items into. Luckily most of the items I ordered came in sturdy containers otherwise I’m sure something else would’ve gotten broken. I sent Ulta an email about this and I have not heard back from them yet. I will update when I do. Update: So I received an email from Ulta Beauty and they offered to send me a replacement! I received an order confirmation email immediately afterwards so I would say it has been resolved. Final update: I received the replacement they sent out and it wasn’t damaged! So I’m really happy with their timeliness but I would rather shop in store to avoid something like this potentially happening again.

Giving them one star because I can’t do 0 stars. I was given the wrong item for my online order in the wrong color. I tried to exchange at store but they were unable to help me so they returned it and said customer service could help reorder. Now they don’t want to fix my issue because it has been refunded that’s BS. Ultas customer service is horrible they don’t ever want to loose and accept when they have made a mistake. For them the employee is always right not the customer.

Not my first time ordering on Ulta since they change their shipment with lasership but it is the first timenot receiving my package. The tracking said it was delivered and left with person, which the name shown as my name but with a unknown signature. I Never received the package nor anyone received for me. And usually package are left by the front door with a picture of proof for delivery, but this time with a fake unknown signature and my name? Customer service is horrible too. They just blame thatthe package is delivered and they won't able to resent or refund for me.

I wanted to give my experience with Ulta, I usually used to purchase alot online and I mean ALOT!! But this time I made a purchase of almost 400 dollars worth of products which I never received and I called, and send emails about the issue and nothing they kept telling me that the package was delivered but the strange thing was that the company that delivered the package I never heard of it when I usually received it by fedex or usps, anyway I spended almost 2 months trying to get ant solutions and the customer service kept telling me that a supervisor was gonna get in contact with me in 48 hrs but only to sent me a copy and paste email saying that the package was delivered and I couldn’t get a refund or to get another package, I’ll be honest I won’t made a fuzz if it was less than 100 dlls but it was 400 dlls and the way that it was handle was just annoying

I just received my first order and let me tell you that it was the right address and name but the merchandise was someone else’s. I was impressed that I received my order in one day but unimpressed that it was wrong. Called customer service and was told they would reship it in 3-8 days and to return the merchandise I received. In this day of covid that surprised me as every other company does not want it back. So I ask to talk to a supervisor and she expedited my order but now they are saying 3-4 days and to return the product. This was supposed to be a simple order now it is just totally inconvenient. I will not be shopping here on line again.

In these difficult times the convenience of being able to order something online and have it delivered to your home is a godsend but when things go wrong it really can bring your day to a crashing halt and that’s exactly what my order with Ulta did, not only did the order take longer considering the circumstances which is fine (IE the pandemic) but in their warehouse they made a mistake and sent me the incorrect order when I called customer service to notify them of the mistake not only did they not offer me expedited shipping on the items that I had placed an order for but they also told me that it was going to be my responsibility to take their items to a UPS or post office location to send it back to them they not only did not offer to retrieve their own items from my home themselves facilitating their own UPS pick up which most multi-million dollar corporations can do.. but their customer care team was completely unapologetic for the situation and did not offer any other options... moving forward after this experience, looks like I’ll be going through Sephora to have my items shipped. Not the way to treat a customer who is trying to do the decent thing here and notify them of the mistake that was made on their part....
