I had a hunting trip coming up so I held off on this until actual in field use. As a 30 year aircraft mechanic I know about hearing loss and tinnitus. During pre-season sight-in verification I was very pleased with the almost total elimination of the rifle sound and would highly recommend these just for shooting sports. The next trial was in the woods hunting. Very impressed with the sound amplification, I heard things in the woods that I haven’t heard since I was a boy growing up in central Pa. I was amazed at the sounds I was hearing again I almost forgot why I was there! I don’t know how these would work with jet engine noise but if I was still in the business I’d definitely find out! I highly recommend these! Thanks!!!

As a weekly shooter at an excellent outdoor range I find the Ravine Pro to perform better than my other ear electronic protectors. Ravine Pro cuts the large muzzle-brake rifles, the large caliber pistol ear piercing cracks. No more ear pain. I bought two (2) pair one is a back-up pair. Excellent Product.. Thanks for providing a GREAT product.

The Fieldops Pro unit fits better than the Fieldops unit that I had previously purchased and had to give away However, they don’t maintain the seat that I need and I am constantly pushing them in for complete protection. They are far more comfortable than my earmuff protectors. I do love the bluetooth capability as well as the 3 position amplification (4x, ambient and silent).

I originally got the non Pro ones BUT they did not fit my ear canal AND would not reduce the noise unless I pressed them in with both hands. SO, I sent an email and the company with my issue AND they responded by sending the "Pro" version with the foam tips AND they fit great and the sound reduction is very good !! NO extra charge ... Happy with the item and the customer service.

The ear buds work as described. I have trouble with them trying to work their way out of my ears. The foam pads should be made of a different foam such as used in Howard Leight orange foam ear plugs. They'd probably fit better. I also find that the ear buds aren't always in sync when using bluetooth for music.
