Really.! I en flagskib butikken i DK… Tar til en trek butik i nærheden af Holbæk næste gang!!

2021 Trek X-Caliber 9 Hardtail. Not a serious bike-packing bike. The wheels supplied (Bontrager Kovee) are far too lightweight for riding on cross country trails with panniers. Eight spokes popped on my rear wheel in the first three months before I replaced the entire wheel. The front wheel quick release mechanism broke in the first two months and needed replacement. Pet peeves: No grommets supplied to protect the hydraulic hose and cable housing from being cut over time and turns by the razor-sharp angled aluminium hole leading into the down tube; no quick release supplied for the seat post (Trek must assume you'll be buying a dropper post on bike arrival); no decent grips supplied (Trek must assume you'll be replacing these on arrival as well). A good frame and drive train but budget at least £600 for replacing wheels and other items as soon as you take delivery of the bike. For bike-packing, you can get more bang for your buck from the direct-to-consumer brands without having to upgrade parts. This bike is best for light, off-road day trips, in which use case you really don’t need to spend this kind of money. Trek could have done better on the X-Caliber 9.

Bought my first mtb from the Wausau Trek store about two years ago and it could not have been a better experience. John got me dialed in on my first bike and on to the trials within a few days, but the sale did not end there. The store was eager to help fix the bike or make tweaks when something started to get a little out of whack. My experience with this branch just comes to show just how much Trek stands by their products and are willing to do what it takes to get you back out on the road/trails as soon as possible. I would recommend considering buying a Trek before any other, because you know you are going to get a great product that is right for you, they have incredible customer service, warranty claim responsibility, and you will learn a lot more about your bike by going through Trek. Even in a tough hiring economy, John manages to surround himself with a great team of knowledgeable and personable ambassadors of the sport. I really appreciate all of the work John, Cam and several other employees at the Wausau Trek store have done in the past two years to keep me out there riding safely, and they are the reason I will go to Trek to buy my next bike as I mature in the sport. Thanks Guys!

BAIT AND SWITCH!!! They advertise features on their bikes that they do not have, and when called out on it they cite their lawyer armor plate statement which says they can change anything, at any time, for any reason (their excuse, like everyone else is covid 19) and that's the way it is, too bad! I purchased two trek verve 2 disc bikes this summer only to find that the 2nd one, same year as the first, had cheap Chinese saddle, stem and bars on it, neither were blendr compatible, as advertised. after an exhausting conversation with a robot employee named Josh, who's whole game is not to try and address the problems, but read from a script written by their lawyers that says they can cheapen up your bike and delete features without any responsibility whatsoever. "it's posted in our website" maybe that statement should be across the home page in big letters. Should have gone to walmart.

Took the opportunity in June 2020 to use my employers new cyclescheme policy. Ordered a Trek Electra cruiser through my LBS When the bike finally arrived in October 2020 I was informed by my LBS that it had been delivered damaged (poor packaging) and required its first warranty claim. The 2nd warranty claim is due to the Pedal arm sheering while riding bike to work. Trek have provided replacement parts but these are off a completely different bike and look horrendous. There is also no guarantee that fitting these incorrect parts on my bike could prematurely wear other components. The bike is advertised by Trek as a Beach cruiser (which I haven't ridden on) but is suffering from significant rust appearing on the front forks due to poor / lack of paint thickness. I've rejected the replacement items & have now been told that correct parts will not be available till end of May 2022. Over a year since the pedal arm sheered. My LBS has told Trek this is unacceptable so I've been informed that TREK have requested the bike be returned to them so they can review and determine if they are willing to offer me a credit. I haven't finished paying for the bike through the cyclescheme yet. Its not my property yet so I can't make the decision to accept or reject any offer which could be significantly less than I have been paying for it over the last year.

I experienced a catastrophic failure of Trek equipment and then got to experience deceitful costumer service. I had bought one of their Pro Blendr bike stems (84€) along with a Blendr mount (16€). This system allows you to mount a navigation device to your bike's stem. On ride number five with my new stem — while going over a moderately uneven road surface — the mount snapped and my expensive navigation device ended up in pieces on the tarmac. The device cost me a very significant amount of money to have fixed. This was a catastrophic failure of the equipment, and I proceeded to write a critical review on the review system that Trek itself offers on its product pages om trekbikes.com. Two and a half weeks later, the review had still not been published, but I received an email from Trek stating that it was "unfortunate to hear about my experience". It was suggested to me that I go and find a certified Trek shop somewhere and "work with them" to file a warranty claim for the broken mount. You can imagine the time this would have taken. And, if the claim ended up being successful, I stood to gain exactly 16€ which was the price of the mount that snapped. Nothing was mentioned about the broken navigation device that costs hundreds of euros. Needless to say, I have not spent time looking for a certified Trek shop that I could "work with" to file a claim for 16€. Instead, I expected that my review of the product would at least save someone else from experiencing what I did. But no. Almost a month after I posted my review, it has not been published by Trek. You will only find 4 and 5-star reviews of the product when visiting trekbikes.com. Conclusion: Trek deceitfully filters the customer reviews they receive, and quietly removes critical ones. No honesty. No integrity. Quite shocking from such a global brand, really. It has been a truly awful and expensive experience shopping with Trek. I shall never do so again.

This is an excellent e-bike! E-bikes tend to be a little heavy but I knew that before my purchase and had no problems with it. The Trek Verve + is a joy to ride. I live in Japan and I encounter a lot of hills. The battery life is very long. I only use the battery when encountering hills, headwinds, or just getting tired out (I'm pushing 60yrs.) I get multiple rides before needing to charge it. The components are of high quality and the bike has been a solid performer with no issues. One thing that I really like about using the e-assist is that regardless if I am against a headwind or going uphill, I select either Eco or Tour and this helps me maintain a constant cadence (HR target). If I really need assistance I just select Turbo, but that is seldom. Trek has done a great job with this model.

I would like to say that we were very pleased with our visit to Trek fox valley Sheffield today as Ben was an absolute pleasure to deal with despite being new. We are so happy with his enthusiasm as I wish more companies employed excellent staff members like Ben.
