I bought the new 2021 Checkpoint SL6. I was lucky as a Dutch dealer managed to get one early so no waiting time of a year for me. I was pretty excited when I got the bike but when I picked it up at the store I saw 2 spots where the paint was damaged. For that I would get a refund which I accepted. But at home I found a much bigger spot where the paint was completely chipped off. The dealer contacted Trek who delivered a new bike the next day. Good service right? But the paint job on the new bike was even worse. So now they will send a new frame as the SL6 is now completely out of stock. So if all goes well I will receive a dealer rebuilt bike. The bike is great btw, super nice actually. But poor quality control at Trek makes me drop the otherwise 5 star rating...

Bought a new Trek Marlin 7 six months ago. The rear wheel bearing collapsed with less than 800km done. Retailed refused to repair the fault under warranty! Trek does not respond to emails requesting advise and assistance.

suite à une commande de dèrailleurs AV et AR super record 11v faites le 06/03/2021 chez trek bezons ,je n'ai reçu à ce jour que le derailleur arriere 5mois plus tard (juillet2021) et maintenant j'attends le derailleur avant malgre des promesses de receptions et d'expéditions faites par FRED le patron du magasin .Je suis au regret d'affirmer qu'il se moque du client en racontant n'importe quoi pour se justifier et qu'il est à la limite de l'honneteté sachant qu'il a encaisser le paieent internet +un virement de 100euros pour avoir plus rapidement ma commande en disponible !!!! j'attends du materiel mis en vente par trek bezons non disponible .Que faut il penser ,,,

I purchased a bike and a helmet from Trek. I subsequently left a positive review for the bike and a negative review for the helmet on Trek's website. Guess what, only the positive review was published, the negative review was not published. Selectively publishing positive reviews and failing to publish negative reviews is review manipulation. It misleads customers to make different purchasing decisions than they would otherwise have done. I had purchased the helmet because I saw no negative reviews on Trek's website. The purchase decision was a mistake. The reviews on Trek's website cannot be trusted to represent a true picture.

I just bought a new Trek Allant +5 and realised it has paint issues. I contacted Evans Cycles and they were unable to provide me with a replacement bike as they all had paint issues in their stock. Eventually they offered £93 voucher which I cannot receive as I bought this bike with ride to work scheme. I wouldn't want £93 anyway just a bike with good paint for the price of £3000. Really disappointed, this is my first and very last Trek bike for sure...

Very good customer service, offered me help and compensation due to a negative experience with a retailer selling their bikes.

After 20 years riding a Trek bike I thought to buy a new one. What an arrogant people work at Trek bycicle Eindhoven (The Netherlands). They think they are in a monopoly position and think that as a consumer you have no choice!!! Think again. I know that it is hard to get some stuff, like a bycicle. But you don't have to react like I have luck and may god thank on my bare feet that I can buy from them. No way I just bought a Scott!!

New Marlin 7 internal cables rattles like Christmas tree on the wind when riding. Apparently plastic clip missing on bottom of the frame to keep cables tightly. Asked customer service for any help. So called customer service "technical team leader" Matt Turner wants me to get the brand new bicycle to nearest service, only 40miles drive, to "maybe" fit mentioned earlier missing plastic worth about 3quid. That's absolutely unacceptable in 800pound bike. Got already GT Avalanche so same price tag bike and mentioned plastic is fitted and internal cables are quiet. No more money spent on Trek bikes coused by bad cheap design and ignorance of customer service. 🦆 Off!!!
