About Traveler's Joy

We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! Traveler's Joy continues to grow into a new decade and we're all very excited at what the future will bring. If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or quotes (or just want to say "Hi!"), always feel free to contact us! You are the lifeblood of our business and the keeper of our hearts.

Super easy!
Super easy! Our guests had no issues using this and we had no issues getting the money transferred to our accounts. Highly recommend!

Easy to use
Easy to use - my only suggestion would be to allow couples to choose what they want to receive money for. Ex: honeymoon, buy a house, etc.

it was great but didn't realize we lost …
it was great but didn't realize we lost a percentage of the money we received as gifts.

Hi Butler, Thanks for your feedback. In order for us to accept credit cards and pay our team a living wage, we must charge a fee. Three years ago we enabled the option for couples to receive gifts via check or cash from the gift giver. For those gifts there is no fee. I'm sorry you were not aware of that option as that would have eliminated all fees. Thanks again for your feedback. We are always trying to find ways to lower our costs. Perfect for couples who want memories, not things
Having lived together for over four years, my husband and I didn't need any material items for our home. I was nervous to basically ask our family and friends for money, but Traveler's Joy has facilitated a way for loved ones to feel like they are a part of your honeymoon experience. They gifted us memories that will last a lifetime on our ten day tour of Italy.

Probably one of the best registries I …
Probably one of the best registries I have ever used. Very simple and perfect. All of our wedding guests loved being able to be part of our honeymoon. I loved the vouchers/cards that came in the mail too. I would highly recommend Travelers Joy!

We had a great experience!
