The worst company I have ever dealt with it's so bad the company I work for is paying us to change our total wireless to any other company we choose becouse all the employees with total wireless are missing so much time dealing with phone problems from this company and the hold times are outrageous sometimes up to 2 hours and when I finally got threw to corporate supposedly I couldn't hear her over the chickens and dog barking in the background And still was forced to pay a third time to finish my work becouse she said there was no way to go back and change the mistake that was made by the script reading customer service and if your problem is not on the script god help you the only reason they got 1 star from me there was no choice for 0 stars

Total Wireless is an off shore operation. And totally worthless.

Worst, worst, worst company. I wished I read these reviews before wasting my money. THey only want $30 a month for nothing. Worst company with multiple numbers. Inconsistent with every word that slips from their lips. I had phone issues and for 15 days they had my phone and refused to return me even a day. Worst company ever. The same voice answered speaking of transferring to supervisor but it was the same guy, same guy posing as both supervisor and former agent pretending to request my name and information again. If no star could be given totally given. This company is a sham, crooks, and liars. I was on the phone with them for hours and they pretended to be another company sending me to another line after another. I hate having to use another number but I be dog on to give them a cent more. Assurance is some how linked and they act the same faulty number. I hate I ever encountered this company. Any other company would atleast work with you under such circumstances. Not this one. A matter of fact I am positive they used those days themselves to send off my phone promptly as the bill came. It took only two days to send to them Sent friday arrived Monday but the phone, the replacement order was delayed 2 weeks on their end.smh not worth time, money not even a call. This company should totally go like $1 tree price and dollar general store. Don't get attach to the number, it's better to let them go like the worst boyfriend ever! you can do better.

How is TW still in business? Do they take anyone for customer service rep that cannot even enunciate properly and very difficult to understand and have a meaningful conversation. TW throttles speed even when on a 5g network. Internet speed check is constantly "very slow" and has gotten worse. Dump TW and choose another carrier. Customer service is of no help.

Worst customer service ever. They will let a hacker steal your number and make you wait on hold for hours to talk to a customer service rep in the Philippines or somewhere who has such a thick accent you can understand 1 word out of 5. You may also here roosters crowing in the background. Soooo professional. It took me 2 weeks to fix such a problem with a cumulative 22 hours of phone and hold time with them. Then when you need to port your number out yourself to get off of their dreadful platform, they will transfer you to the porting department who will just drop your call. Time after time. Just get another cheap service. I switched to US Mobile. Better customer service and less money, and 5 G. Just run from this trainwreck of a company.

I purchased a Sim card from them and when I tried to activate it, it claimed it was already in use. I had to contact customer service multiple times to get it activated and then I had to contact them repeatedly to buy a new plan because they said my email, which was given repeatedly, during the many conversations with them. Then they covered up my poor review of their business because it "didn't meet their standards for a review". Use literally any other cell phone company. Literally just got off the chat with customer service and they informed me the only way to help is for me to call, which can't be done without a phone with a plan, which I can't get without them dealing with whatever issue they are having with my account.

Although my phone(Samsung Galaxy Note20 ULTRA 5G) indicates 5G service, download speeds test at slightly faster than 3G. I'm currently at 10Gb into a 25Gb monthly plan. Texting apn to 611611 does nothing. Additionally, approximately every 5-6 months, I lose data connectivity COMPLETELY. This usually requires me to do their on-line troubleshooting for a half a dozen times before I get to talk to someone that runs me through the EXACT "corrective" steps outlined in the on-line troubleshooting. Only after I insist in talking with a higher level support does my data get restored but that usually requires 2 or 3 phone conversations. The slightly lower monthly cost is not worth the overall trouble.

I am not even a current customer of Total Wireless because I couldn't even get the equipment I needed to activate my service. It interested me because of the low cost, so I went online to purchase 2 sim cards (one for myself and one for my mom who was going on the plan with me) as well as the plan ($60/month). I received a confirmation email and then my card was charged that same day for the plan and 2 sim cards. The person that I chatted with said it would come in 2 days - it took 10 days. When we eventually received it, I opened the package to find only 1 sim card. So I figured I would have to contact them saying that we are missing one of the sim cards. Took me hours to actually get a hold of someone - tried texting, chatting online, and phone calls. Everything led me to a "scheduled call back". Finally got someone, who then transferred me and then hung up the phone. Went through the whole process again and finally got someone who I could explain the problem to. She said all they could do was refund the money for the 1 sim card and then I would have to go online and buy another one. Makes no sense why she couldn't just send another one. After all that, I knew I couldn't be their customer (mind you - I wasn't even technically on their service!!). So I went onto Visible and signed up, got their sim cards, activated my plan, all while still waiting for the refund from Total Wireless. I tried contacting Total Wireless again today to ask for the refund of the plan they charged (that I've never used) and am having to go through all the hoops again of getting a scheduled call and they hung up on me AGAIN!!! It's been hours of me trying to contact someone with no success and they still owe me $68 dollars. I don't understand why I can't get a simple call back.
