It is hard to imagine a company that needs your business can be this bad. They are far worse than any government agency or megacorporation I've ever dealt with. I have spent over 4 hours of my life trying to even get service initiated. I then had a problem with my sim card and spent another hour trying to work out the problem which didn't get resolved. I then decided to try Mint Mobil (who has been fantastic) and needed to get a transfer pin to escape Total's horrible plan. That cost me another 2 hours & then was told it may take 3 hours to receive the pin.....still waiting

Could not get wifi calling with a Galaxy Flip Phone! They said it was my phone, hahaha. My phone is newer, and works on T-Mobile and regular Verizon.
Customer service was inept and the system worse.
On the phone with them for hours trying to get out of the "service". They entered our (their) account number wrong. They had a zip code from our previous address when our bill payment was set up from our new address. You go through one set of verifications and then you are transferred to another to do it again. They try to send you information when you don't have the service to receive it! Their agents are ok, but evidently stymied by an inability to progress in the system.
It was beyond frustrating. NEVER support this company.

Horrible and frustrating customer service
I have been on total wireless over 5 years. I haven’t had a problem until this year. I have also had the same shared plan the entire time. I have 3 phones on my plan. 2 days ago total wireless said my data had exceeded 115 GB since Aug 30. I have went through the text system and 7 customer service and technical support (which are the same), trying to get some help. 2 of those people actually gave me slightly more than the canned responses that kept being repeated. One said that my specific line had consumed 43 GB of data on Sept 8. The other told me that my specific line has used over 70 GB of data of the 115 used. I do not stream, watch movies, download or anything else on my phone that would use large amounts of data. On any other month it would show my phone using less than 1 Gb per day. I asked them if someone in IT could look at this. I was told the same response. I was on a shared plan and the data had been used according to their system. I asked to be transferred to a manager. I was transferred to another customer service person. They said I wasn’t allowed to speak with anyone in IT. Today the app will not let me look at any of the line’s usages. It tells me to contact a specific # which turns out to be customer service. Round and Round. My mom and sister listened to me talk to them yesterday and got as frustrated as I did. I can’t find any HELP!

5 year customer, Verizon destroyed Total
5 year customer, Verizon destroyed a great phone service when they purchased Total. Customer service has a terrible script that includes telling the customer to "call back in 54 hours" and call back in 24 hours to see if you phone works. Can't even leave without Verizon locking my numbers after getting the number port taken care of. Go elsewhere, or to leave you fight to keep your number

I recently had an extremely frustrating…
I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Total Wireless that I feel compelled to share to help others avoid a similar situation. My interaction with this company has left me feeling scammed and deeply dissatisfied.
Initial Purchase and Activation
I purchased a Total Wireless SIM card along with a $40 monthly plan, totaling $50. The activation process was completed online, following all the required steps meticulously. However, despite my efforts, there was no network signal available after activation.
Customer Support Experience
Seeking assistance, I contacted Total Wireless customer support. Unfortunately, this only added to my frustration. My call was transferred multiple times, and I had to repeatedly provide my details to different representatives. One customer service agent assured me that the issue would be resolved within 15-20 minutes. However, when I checked five hours later, the problem persisted.
Repeated Attempts and Empty Promises
I called customer support again and had to explain the entire situation from scratch. This time, I was advised to update my device, but the issue remained unresolved. Another representative attempted to assist me, but I felt more scammed than helped. When I suggested that the SIM card might be defective, I was assured that purchasing a new one would definitely resolve the issue. However, they refused to exchange the SIM card, provide technical support, or offer a refund.
Conclusion
In the end, I wasted $50 and an entire day dealing with Total Wireless. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I strongly advise against purchasing Total Wireless SIM cards or plans if you value your time and money. The lack of effective customer support and the inability to resolve basic issues make this service unreliable and untrustworthy.
Buyer Beware: Avoid Total Wireless to save yourself from unnecessary stress and financial loss.
