I signed up for the byebyetmobile special. The first prepaid month shows up correctly. Of course, the second month, it doesn't show up and customer service is worthless. I am trying to figure out who I can report them to. And the 3rd renewal is going to be even more than then second renewal. This company is a complete bait and switch. When the time comes, I will be jumping ship unless they will correct their mistakes. Unacceptable!

They offered a promotion byebyemetro which showed up for most of the month but disappeared just before renewal. When customer support was contacted, they kept transferring to each other and acted like that is something that did not exist. Such a bait and switch company! Never use their services.

If I could rate a zero, I would. I purchased a cell phone with lost & stolen insurance for my 12 year old son. He lost his phone in a remote area. We did not realize that his location finding with his iPhone did not work as our US Cellular carrier had service. Due to this we assumed it was stolen as it disappeared quickly after he arrived in a public place and location finding was turned off. When calling to report it stolen, was told it only covered if the phone was broken, not misplaced or stolen. They requested two recent most dialed numbers which I provided multiple times before they finally accepted it. They could not specify why the numbers in the recently dialed and messages were not validating. After she marked it as stolen, she said there is a lost and stolen insurance that we offer, but we cannot check if you have it because the phone is inactive. We found the phone shortly after. I called to reactivate and they said we could not authenticate the account because there was not an email on file and the phone numbers I provided did not match the recently dialed numbers. They said I could go to the website to update our email, but it would not let me because the account was inactivate. I tried to reactivate but I could not because they could not authenticate me. Vicious loop. I offered to provide my credit card statements proving I have paid the monthly fees, provide my mailing address, my phone number etc. and they said the only way to authenticate who I was is email, 2 most frequently recently dialed numbers (which I provided and they kept stating they didn’t match) and the pin (which I had). Since my account is blacklisted and they never collected an email, and the phone is not active to make any calls or text messages through cell carrier, I cannot get the phone off the blacklist. They have in essence stolen my cell phone and misinformed me in multiple steps along the way. -every representative I have spoken with has given a different answer as far as what options are available. 2 Reps said they would do something else to remove my phone from the blacklist but it takes 3-5 business days. When I Call back the next rep states they have to authenticate the account with the other steps listed above -misrepresented stolen/lost insurance -missing info from account set up -invalid info when marking the phone as stolen (ie. Why was my email not collected then?) -unreasonable validation options. (I have many other ways to prove who I am)

Where do I start with this one?!! I left mint mobile during the promotion of $15 a line, it was such a disaster.I could not get over how bad the customer service is, i was angry when I found out that my pixel 8 pro would not work on their network.So I had to use my backup phone Galaxy.S 20 + , seriously.Took a day or 22 get to data settings corrected and to this day my text settings are hit and miss, I'll definitely be going back to mint mobile!!

Basically ported over because of their byod promo was told I'd be charged full price first month and then promo price next month turns out guy at the store didn't know what he was doing and I and they didn't honor it they "tried to fix it " but they couldn't I called customer service they are useless they can't help you with anything it's such a waste of time look elsewhere for wireless service

Website showed free phones for existing customers. when my wife submitted the purchase we were charged 650 dollars, immediately called and explained the situation. Was told they cannot cancel the order, we have to receive phones, then return them, and after 30 days of the warehouse receing them then we would get our refund. its been over 30 days, and still no refund, and when i call after hours of being put on phone they hang up.

Please do not by service from this telecom service provider. Bought a prepaid sim with $60 recharge on Thursday evening. It worked till saturday night and stopped working. The begged the Customer service provider to provide an esim instead. They said my Iphone 12( which was never Locked to any network) is not compatible to esim. I asked for a duplicate SIM and they said my sim are locked by my phone. I had to forgo my $60 and go for new provider through which I was able to get a esim as well as physical sim and working 100% without any issues. I visited their office as well and they just give after asking bunch of stupid unrealistic questions for an hour. THe agent itself said they are new to texas region and hence lot of issues.

If I could rate negative stars, I would. Total Wireless number porting is an illegal nightmare! Tried to port-in a phone number, only to be told because their systems require deactivating lines to port in that any line discounts will be forfeited. Uh … no. FCC does allow ONE-TIME charge to port. All their customer service is outsourced to other countries, and reps just read scripts even knowing the script doesn’t apply to my concern. Avoid. Can’t imagine the nightmare porting out would be.
