Horrible. Stay far, far away. I signed up for the $20 Total Max 5G promo plan. Great price but have not been able to login to my voicemail from the get go. Reset the pin number numerous times myself through their 611611 text option. No luck. Talked to two different customer service agents. No luck. Chatted with agents as well. No luck. For everything to work right away but there's a big problem with something as simple as voicemail. That's a no go for me. I have to be able to get into and check my messages. I've been with Total before a few years back and never had an issue. This time absolutely unacceptable to not be able to reset a voicemail box. Port out. At least you can get your account number and pin online.

Stayed on the phone with Total Wireless reps for over 6 hours, just to activate new total wireless phone. They couldn't do it, and speaking with two different reps. So i asked to reactivate my old phone until i could purchase something else. They can't seem to get my old phone working again, as it was working fine before they deactivated it yesterday.

Worst customer service. I've had to call customer service for help with my phone on multiple occasions. The last occasion was one of the longest (literally over 2 hours). My phone wasn't working, and apparently they didn't know they discontinued the auto pay I had, and refunded the last payment... (This happened when I was on the phone call) At first they said there was no record of me paying with the card I was using (for many months) The customer service person seemed like they wanted me to call back instead of helping me get my phone going again. Other times, I have had to contact customer service every time there was an android update because my service, or data would quit working. The last total wireless branded phone (bought from Walmart) I had nothing but problems with it from day 1. Talked to about 5 customer service reps, and they said the sim card was defective out of the box... Had to go buy a new sim card just to get my phone working. I don't think I would have stayed with total wireless if they didn't reduce my bill. I do have an unlocked phone now, so I'm ready to jump ship if I continue to experience service issues the next time I update my phone. I'm glad they reduced my unlimited plan to $25 / month (supposedly). I am not sure if I believe it or not. I've had a rep try to convince me to re-up my unlimited plan to reset it before the month was up ... Ummm..... Why the hell would I do that? 😂 If it's unlimited data. No!!! I've used total wireless for many years, and it's truly worse than ever since Verizon took it over. I can't help but think it's by design.

At first I was satisfied with the service nine days ago my other phone crapped out on me so I went and got another phone from Total wireless afterwards for some reason my plan went from $60 to 85 with the out my consent now they telling me that my plan is no longer valid which I got this plan over a year ago I should be grandfathered in they did not warn me they did not advise me that my bill was going up they just automatically did it and now they do not want to fix it so therefore next month when my bill is due I will not pay the $80 I will pay the $60 but not the 80 and if not I will find me another phone service

This is by far the worst company I have ever encountered. Ordered a sim kit and was told 1-3 working day delivery. 2 weeks later, it still hadn't left the warehouse. There is an entire reddit page dedicated to people hitting them with chargebacks for this reason. After speaking to 4 online agents, a call centre in Mexico and a call centre in India, their own agent told me to issue them with a chargeback as the order had not transferred from the merchant. They then replaced the order on the phone. That still hadn't left the warehouse days later, when I simply walked into a store and picked up an identical sim card. I then tried registering with the account I already had and was told I had to wait for the new sim to arrive (which was identical in every way to the one purchased in the store). They got hit with 2 chargebacks in the space of 3 weeks. Their customer care appears to be people lounging around a call centre not giving a single **** about you, the company or anything else. Their service is $5 a month cheaper than the alternative, $60 a year, and the first time they double charge you or you have an issue, that saving evaporates instantly as soon as you have to spend hours with them trying to sort it out. Just stay well clear of them. They wasted weeks of my time and I ended up putting their sim straight in the trash. Utter garbage.

Terrible service and terrible customer service

Horrible experience. I signed up for the $20-a-month promotion and have already seen a $25 statement for next month. I contacted customer service and was told the promotion wasn’t reflected on my plan, and they would open a ticket; I am still waiting. The first time I reached customer service by chat was even worse, as that representative couldn’t even identify the actual plan I am on. Worst experience yet. Stay away.

Best costumer service ever! Better then tmobile who is scamming people by increasing the bill because of add ons no one wants! (That was mentioned to me by a former manager of tmobile in Lumberton nj..he now works for total)
