When UPS transfers a package to USPS, this is where we most commonly see delays, but the order is ultimately delivered. Our lost-in-transit policy allows time for the carrier to deliver your package but if the package still has not arrived within 15 business days since your last tracking update and there is no additional movement, we will happily replace or refund the order. One of our Customer Service Agents has a follow-up scheduled with you for 9/6 to check in and replace or refund your order if needed. Three Bird Nest is a smaller business (just 6 of us in customer service!) and while we try our best to reduce the cost and impact on our customers, our returns ultimately result in either a $7.95-$9.85 fee deducted from the overall refund as well as your initial shipping cost being non-refundable as it is a service rendered. Due to the size and order volume of our company, we do not have enterprise accounts or shipping discounts with the main shipping services like UPS, USPS, and FedEx like a lot of larger retail stores have. As our company grows, this is an area we look to revisit and your feedback regarding the returns process is extremely appreciated. It truly does help us grow and focus on the policies that impact our customers the most. We ask that customers report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items within three days of delivery, with exceptions for up to a week after in some cases. Unfortunately, since your order was delivered in March, we’re unable to offer a refund or replacement at this time. Our policy is designed to ensure that any defects are promptly reported to our product and quality control teams, as addressing concerns quickly helps us maintain the highest standards. Please note that all damaged or defective items must have their tags attached and remain in unworn and unwashed condition to qualify for a replacement. To extend the life of your items, we recommend hand washing them in cold water and laying them flat to dry. Since washing machines can vary, hand washing and air drying are the safest methods.
