While the sweater’s care instructions on the tag do state machine wash, we do advise on our website that all items be handwashed to preserve their quality. We understand your frustration if the sweater didn’t hold up as expected. However, as per our policy, items damaged due to washing or wear cannot be refunded or replaced. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have access to the significant shipping discounts that larger companies enjoy, which means our return shipping fees of $7.95 or $9.85 are necessary to help cover those costs. Similarly, the initial shipping charge helps offset the actual costs of delivering your order.
