After day 3 I already felt a difference. I'm on day 21 now and I feel so much happening and way more balanced than before. I can't wait to see what happens in the next few months.

I strongly encourage anyone considering…
I strongly encourage anyone considering this teacher training to thoroughly research and read the full “Teacher’s Training Terms” before enrolling. The course is severely lacking in both education and resources, especially given its price. Additionally, the creator, Liz Tenuto, has no formal qualifications or certifications to teach this scope of work, let alone train others to do so.
There are also serious concerns about her marketing tactics and the way she handles feedback. Tenuto does not provide a safe space for students to voice concerns—instead, she often gaslights them, using psychological concepts to suggest their criticisms stem from personal trauma rather than valid concerns about the course.
Without informing current students, she recently updated her terms to include a “Mutual Non-Disparagement” clause. This effectively prohibits students from making public critiques of the course or her business. Those who do are automatically removed from the training without a refund.
“3. MUTUAL NON-DISPARAGEMENT: Should You have any questions or concerns about the Course or Business, You agree now to contact Business directly in a mature and professional way rather than to publicly make any negative or critical comments about the Course, Business’s business or Business personally through social media, public forums, or otherwise. The parties both agree now not to communicate with any other individual, Business or entity in a way that is harmful or disparaging to the other, whether actual or perceptual, or to do or say anything that is injurious to each other’s reputation, including about the Course, Business personally, Business’s business, employees, contractors or agents, other participants. In arbitration or when required by law the Parties are not prohibited from publicly sharing our thoughts and opinions.”
Full Terms of Service are linked at the bottom of her website labeled “Teacher Training Terms”. I also want to mention that there is no checkbox on the purchase page showing that you have seen or agreed to terms. The link is discreetly placed on the page with no direction or action to take regarding them.
Before investing in any training, it’s crucial to ensure the program is reputable, transparent, and led by qualified educators. This one is not.

Scam
After 30 days of doing the release your trauma exercises, the only thing I released was anger at myself for feeling stupid for having trusted and spent money uselessly. I wrote to her to tell her about it but of course she didn't give me my money back. Scam

Warning: Unmet Expectations and Ethical Concerns with the Workout Witch Teacher Training Program
I am a full-time Somatic Practitioner and Chromotherapist with extensive experience in the therapeutic industry. I enrolled in the Workout Witch Teacher Training Program, hoping to further my education. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it to help others considering this program.
While I believe in the potential of this work, several issues raised concerns about the program’s quality, support, and the ethical practices of the company. Below are the key points:
1. Deficient Program Content for Early Students:
When I began the program in September 2024, there was a lack of essential tools for success, such as a comprehensive manual, transcripts, or the promised mentorship. The program mainly consisted of short videos—similar to Instagram Reels—of Liz talking or demonstrating exercises. This left me feeling that the program was underdeveloped. There was also little clear guidance, and the promised mentorship from Liz never materialized. After many of us requested it, we were given a Facebook Teacher Training group to help create a community, but emails often went unanswered, or replies were delayed for 5-7 days and were unhelpful. I quickly realized that the program focused on teaching only one sequence of Liz’s work, rather than offering a comprehensive curriculum. In fact, a student ended up creating a manual and selling it to the participants due to the lack of material. The original marketing was misleading, and the certification success rate has been misrepresented, with only two graduates since July 2024—far fewer than advertised. This raises serious concerns about the program’s effectiveness.
2. Handling of Constructive Feedback and Removal from Group:
Months after providing constructive feedback and requesting support, Liz finally began to add written PDFs and keynote transcriptions, but this only happened after negative reviews began to surface. Instead of working with the inaugural class to improve the program, Liz chose to vilify those who raised concerns, blocking us from further involvement. Many of us were removed from public-facing platforms, such as the Facebook Teacher Training group (the one we helped create), and lost access to “mentorship” calls (which did not contain actual mentorship). This felt dismissive, as though our input was used and then discarded. While I had not felt supported before, I now felt unsafe in her program. I requested a refund, which I was told would be granted via voicemail on February 26, 2024, and confirmed in an email.
3. NDA and Unethical Practices:
I was offered an NDA in exchange for a refund. During this time, I was blocked on all social media for reasons I don’t fully understand. The NDA required that I remove any negative reviews (I hadn’t written any at that point) and that I could not speak of Liz for one year. I was ready to sign out of financial necessity, but on February 28, 2024, at 5:21 AM EST, Liz removed the option without any communication. A few days later, I was informed by a new lawyer that the refund option was no longer available. I was given a deadline of March 7, 2025, to confirm my participation in the program, under the condition that I would not publicly discuss my criticism. If I did not confirm, my participation would be terminated. The level of “ick” in this process is simply beyond. To be clear, I have NEVER written a single review regarding Liz of her program until now. I simply provided constructive feedback (which Liz eventually incorporated) and asked for a refund because the program’s added written support (was still in progress) and came too little, too late. Now, I’m being pushed out. If I stayed, how could I ever feel safe communicating with her? I’m choosing to be out the $2500 because I do not want to have any thing to do with her or her work. She has made it clear that she cares more about profit over people and is the exact opposite of the type of heart-led professional I hope to be in this industry.
If you are considering this program, please be sure you download the Terms & Conditions you committed to – and when you look over the areas pay special attention to Section VII.3 MUTUAL NON-DISPARAGEMENT and ask yourself what type of business needs this in their clauses.
I want to emphasize that this is my first time sharing a review of the program. I had hoped for a positive resolution, but after being pushed out, I feel compelled to speak up. As a seasoned professional in the therapeutic industry, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the Workout Witch Teacher Training Program. I hope this feedback encourages Liz to reassess her approach, consider beta programs when launching new trainings, and provide better support and clarity for future students.

After reading several very negative…
After reading several very negative reviews that seem really personal about a professional they don’t likely know, I feel a need to speak up.
First of all, the criticism that she’s reaching out to people to force a positive review is nonsense. Her language said, please report your experience. As a wellness professional, I often ask my clients to leave a review of their experience, admittedly when I know they enjoyed it. That’s a typical thing any business wants and will ask for. She is manipulating no one and after being attacked with very accusatory reviews that seem intended to cut deeper than simply being disappointed with the results, I can’t blame her at all for reaching out to allies who have not reviewed.
Secondly, as a wellness practitioner I bring a lot of love to my work and my whole mission is to ease suffering and I believe wholly that Liz is the same. It’s evident, in fact, and I’m highly intuitive and feel her intention and integrity. It’s frankly hurtful to receive an ugly review that is accusatory of character when nearly all of us in wellness just want to help. The comment that she doesn’t seem to sufficiently display CPTSD is wild to me. WTH?
Also, (3rd), she’s growing as an entrepreneur so customer care during those periods can be bumpy as a business expands and hires more assistance. The level of anger towards this woman disgusted me, to be honest.
And stop making assumptions about her credentials just because you didn’t have the outcome you hoped for. Another thing- the pioneers of most approaches and modalities, from osteopathy to cranial sacral work to Reiki, etc, didn’t come out of their training being these experts. They used their observations and theories to develop a new modality. Liz has made observations, I’m sure, and studied a range of somatic theory and practice, and has incorporated it. That’s called innovation. If you received acupuncture and it didn’t fix the thing you came in for, would you attack the acupuncturist? Or PT, or yoga teacher?
It’s my observation that Liz makes claims she’s observed do happen. Instead of blaming her, let’s be adults and stop projecting because you’re not “cured”.
I feel so bad for Liz, whose ambitions are rooted in healing and helping and for sticking her neck out, gets attacked in such a hostile way.
Many of my clients have benefited from her work, none of which does any harm at the very least.

I have I feel my healing is (finally) making a breakthrough. been learning a great deal from…
I have been learning a great deal from the YouTube channel, the Workout Witch. I am 55 yrs old and have been on a healing journey most of my life searching for answers on why I do the things I do. I have been to doctors, shamans and healers. I even worked around psychologists, counselors and people who work in social services. Alot of questions have been answered through the videos I watched about cortisol, my eye twitching and other things that the trauma I endured as a child. I have been doing the movements and had tears run down my face. I haven't been able to cry for years. Thank you. I have recommended the Workout Witch to others.

Trauma Induced by Exercises and No Support
I found The Workout Witch in March, 2024 on Instagram and her content highlighted many pain points I'd been dealing with. I bought the 60 Day Nervous System Reset as it was the most promoted course. I simply wanted to heal my nervous system and she promised this within the 60 days.
I committed 100% and followed the exercises every day. I thought I saw a shift for the positive in the first 60 days, but most of my issues were not resolved and some new ones were beginning. So, I started the program over again for another 60 days. I emailed The WW asking why my symptoms had not resolved as promised and this was their reply:
"Regarding your question about whether to redo the same course, it's not uncommon to continue experiencing some symptoms as your body adjusts and continues to heal. If you feel that the courses have been beneficial, it can absolutely be a great idea to repeat the courses. This can help to deepen the healing process and provide further relief."
So, I kept doing the 60 day course over and over. My symptoms did not go away and I was experiencing increased anxiety when doing the exercises. It felt like I wanted to jump out of my skin, but based on their reply and marketing I thought this was part of the process.
I emailed again in July saying that I was feeling so nauseated I almost throw up after some of the exercises. This is their reply: "these exercises can release stored emotions and tension, which might also contribute to the intensity of your symptoms."
I want to release stored emotions so, I kept going.
Then, she launched her Teacher Training program. I had been doing the 60 Reset every day for 4 months and wanted a deeper level of understanding of the science and why to use these exercises. It was marketed as a very small/limited enrollment with mentorship directly from Liz. There was rushed language saying the training was about to sell out, so I enrolled right away. Weeks went by and the same emails were sent out, indicating that they actually hadn't sold out and I didn't need to sign up so quickly.
Training began and the online materials were very basic. Most of the videos were the exact same videos from the 60 day reset. There was no training manual. We have one monthly live call where Liz leads an exercise, we practice and she talks, leaving about 5 minutes for Q+A at the end. So many hands would be raised, but not everyone could ask their questions.
I was called on and shared that I was experiencing heightened anxiety, like I wanted to jump out of my skin and what should I do? She said to get up and shake it off with some jumps and wrist flicks before going back into the exercises. So, that's what I did.
The training itself was very confusing with zero science behind why we were doing the exercises. It was simply teaching us how to direct a student through the exercises. So, instead of being certified as a Somatic Exercise Practitioner we were being trained to direct one sequence of movements. (I've since learned these exercises weren't even created by her.)
My anxiety was getting much worse. I began learning about C-PTSD and was checking off most of the boxes. So, I emailed The WW asking for support in finding help for my increased symptoms. They replied suggesting a general therapy search site.
I wasn't able to find a therapist and my symptoms kept increasing. Then, mid-September I had a psychotic break known as Derealization. I was lost for 36 hours with no idea of who I was or what life was. It was the most terrifying experience and I see it as a near death experience. And, after learning about derealization, that's exactly what it was. People speak of stress/anxiety/trauma as "a tiger chasing you" so, your system is constantly on the run. However, with derealization the nervous system believes the tiger (threat) has actually sunk its teeth in and your death is imminent. Your system begins to shut down and your consciousness disconnects to spare you pain. It has been 5 months and I am still dealing with symptoms, but thankfully much better.
In the next live call, I shared this experience and all Liz said was no-one should repeat the 60 day reset back to back. In a private chat 3 others said they had near identical experiences. That's 4 out of 22 who were live on that call. That % is much too high.
I compiled an email to the WW asking for a refund, sharing my deep concerns and lack of credibility. I was denied. I will chalk this up to a "tuition of life" lesson- I should have done more research about somatics and her. It's far too easy for people with a lot of "followers" to make claims. She has no certifications in the field of somatics, which is dangerous because I have since learned the nervous system is a very intelligent and sensitive system. I am not continuing the training and have started learning from deeply trained professionals.
